Totally unprofessional. The person at the counter disappeared with no explanation. After ten minutes of waiting I walked out. The only other customer in the shop had been waiting half an hour for staff to find his phone in the safe! What a joke.

WeFix is definitely the place to go if you need to get your cellphone repaired. Their service and communication is brilliant. I so appreciated the constant smss & emails sent notifying me of the progress of my daughters phone. The teamwork support of each other at the store was fantastic. It was so encouraging to see one of the team members help his fellow colleague to get my daughters phone. Simple attention to detail and being aware of the activity that happens in the store goes a long way. This certainly facilitates the ability to go the extra mile for their customers. Awesome service. Fast friendly service and dealing in genuine products. The fact that it is moderately expensive does not take away from the satisfaction of knowing EXPERTS are taking care of your handset. Mine was a Samsung Note 9 screen replacement.Thanks guys.... 👍🏽

Great service up until device went in. Told it would take 3 to 4 hours. No one called. 6 hours later i went in to be told it was ready long ago. I gave alternative numbers to contact me. Also asked for a screen protector to be put on. Not done. Generally service is slow in the store. Technically good but very slow. Queue outside store permanently

The only official repair authority for Samsung, so there is no competition.They offer no service to pre-booked your device for a screen replacement, so it requires two trips to the store, one to have them agree that the screen is broken, and then again to replace the screen! Pathetic if you live outside Cape Town!

The lady who took my phone in today was soo cold and stand-offish, I just stood there wondering to myself why shes so angry at me. Had I known, I would have gone to the istore instead. Yes it costs a little more but at least they treat you like a human being... also, they dont take american express (that was promptly yelled at me when I took out my amex card to pay for the repair)I was under the impression they would let me know when my device was ready for collection but alas, I was wrong. Just over 3 and a half hours after dropping off my phone I decided to go back to the store and check on progress. The repair was done, they just had not bothered to let me know. Anywhu, as I walked in to the store the same lady from above told me should couldnt help me as she was cashing up and another guy had to come and assist with my device collection and payment. He was also not much of a talker, but at that point I was just happy to be getting my phone back fully repaired and I hope to never set foot in this store ever again...

Went to weFix because my phones battery was depleting faster than it should. I got a quote charging me R10 000 for a phone that was R8 000 brand new. No technician on site to explain the reason why so I just had to pay the inspection fee and decline the quote. (A new battery costs less than R200)

Disappointed by my experience there. Their website quotes a low price for screen fixes, they then book your phone in for assessment . I was not informed of a charge, irrespective of accepting the quote to fix. The quote is the way more than the websites R1599I could have just had it done for the same price tgey quoted at the cellphone stall at our local mall, and saved the assessment fee.

Worst service i have had from any service provider in years. Response times take daysssss only to receive a qoute after 8 days, then to be told it would take another 10 days to resolve. Unprofessional, slow and not helpful, i would not recomend wefix canalwalk if you are a profesional and need your phone for work. Vodacom will sort my phone out in 3 days.

I booked my watch in for repairs on the 30 of January 2021. I was told it would take 2 to 3 days to have my watch repaired. As per procedure pictures were taken of the condition of the device apon check in date. Fast forward to 17 February 2021. I arrived at the store. I got told by the manager to remove my 2 year old child from the store as their technicians could not hear. I received a damaged watch, when I asked for pictures of the watch when it was booked in. I got shown pictures taken in February 2021. Complete robbery . PLEASE assist

Trying to get feedback or hold of anyone there is IMPOSSIBLE, FRUSTRATING and most importantly UNPROFESSIONAL. They should just close that store down...... Honestly, what a waste of your own time.I took my phone in for a damage estimate and because its a new phone they said they do not have the part prices on hand and will have to contact Samsung for the prices and the quote will be mailed to me. Its going for the 3rd day and still nothing . You cant get hold of them , i have emailed to several different email addresses and i dont get a reply.Seriously guys, this is PATHETIC. Who is accountable for this unprofessional setup at the end of the day. How can you run a business like this.

Took my Samsung Smart Watch Active in for a warranty claim. No questions asked, they took my device in and I had it back within 2 weeks with new original Samsung parts. Friendly and professional staff with great customer service. They send you daily updates of the repair of you device via email and SMS. Would definitely recommend them to anyone.

Sent my watch in for repairs , was told 5-10 days which was not an issue , was actually happy since other stores were going to take long.Received my quote , accepted it , everything goes on as normal until my quote suddenly gets rejected.I try to phone in to see what’s happening , no answer.I send an email to ask what’s going on , no answer.I receive the same quote again and before I could even read it , it got rejected.I try phoning in again , no answer.I sent a reply email to ask what’s going on , no answer.I honestly have no idea what’s going on , and communication is awful , now I have to go in store and find out what’s going on and the mall is quite a distance from me.Hopefully this is a one off experience as my family members and other friends had very good experiences from them and that’s why I chose to go there.I hope this issue gets fixed , I’m losing patience.

Trying to contact the branch is near impossible. You cannot phone them, you have to resort to emails which they answer as and when they please and give vague answers to boot. It is beyond frustrating not to be able to speak with someone regarding my device that is booked in for repair.

I took my phone in for an assessment for an insurance claim. They told me it would be 1 hour. It is now almost 24 hours later and after numerous email there is still no reply from them. You cant even call them. When you call them it tells you to email them. How is that OK that a company who is affiliated to major insurance companies offers a service such as this?

I dont write negative reviews unless a place is so awful that I want to warn the public against going there. After buying earphones from WeFix in Kayalami two years ago, which summarily stopped working on the same day, I decided to try and go to the Century City store in Cape Town to try and fix my cellphone screen.When I entered the story I heard a couple arguing with the cashier about their phone which they brought in for minor repairs. It appeared that WeFix had replaced their perfectly working screen with an aftermarket screen which ended up being faulty. Of course they wanted their money back or for their old screen to be put back onto the phone.I left the store.

My galaxy buds were taken to waterfront for the second time for repairs. Bagee booked it in. On the 25th of Jan i got a call from WeFix saying my buds has been ready since 6 Jan. WeFix said they dont send drivers to deliver; Waterfront said they don send drivers to collect so i went and collected it myself at Canal Walk. Needless to say the buds still have the same problem that it went in for repair. Do i feel like making another trip to have it fixe, NO.

Staff in store are clueless.Store doesnt answer their phones.Emails are not replied to, except for an autoresponse falsely stating someone will respond in 24 hours.So, if you have a query with anything, one needs to go INTO the branch, in a shopping mall, in a pandemic. Really thoughtful of them.If they werent the only people authorized for warranty repairs of Samsung Phones, Id avoid them like the plague.Cant really get much worse than this. Considering the dismal state of customer service in RSA, this is impressive, but not in a good way.Absolutely pathetic. Take your patronage elsewhere.EDIT: Take the phone is to repair the bottom microphone. Get a quote for an LCD replacement. Nothing mentioned about the microphone. What an upsell.

Booked an Apple Watch in for a battery replacement on 23 Jan, I kept getting automated email updates that the device is waiting on parts. 2 weeks later I follow up, and was finally told that their battery shipment is delayed by chinese new year (fair enough).Thereafter, every email I sent had to be followed by another email just to get a response. Not attentive to customer emails, cant answer a simple question on approximately how long it will take.Its been almost 6 weeks and I have received no indication or updates on when the watch will be repaired.

WeFix, Im utterly disappointed. I tried to book my Samsung S10+ in today at your canal walk store for a screen repair today with Samsung mobile care and was told the fix would take approximately a month even though you had stock. I was told its due to delays by samsung themselves - obviously I didnt accept a month turn around time and went to the Samsung repair centre directly in Bellville (who agreed that their is stock available) and that the repair would take a mere 2 hours.Never will I even consider using weFix again.

I needed to purchase a new battery for my Samsung Galaxy phone and was told that I was required to leave my phone with weFix, as collateral I gather. I find this rather bizarre, as it would be very inconvenient to be without my phone for a period of up to 15 days - do people really order batteries for fun, with no intention of returning to the store to pay for, and collect, the battery? I cant see why I couldnt just pay upfront for the cost of the new battery and then collect the battery once it arrived at the store. Needless to say, I didnt leave my phone with weFix and went elsewhere.

I dropped my phone and damaged it. I called Samsung about getting a repair quote for my insurers and was told WeFix in canal walk are their repair agents. On 27/10 I went in and after the agent confirming the damage in writing, I still had to wait for an hour for them to evaluate it. The report that came back was incomplete. The speaker is damaged and it was not included in the quote. I was told the speaker is part of the case so asked her to make a note of that on the quote and sign it. She refused and promised that as it was 5pm the manager Jackson would email me the correct report first thing the next morning. I have emailed them a number of times and the only feedback is that a technician will contact me. (They do not accept incoming telephone calls).This is shocking service for a Samsung repair service.

Unfortunately they seem to be the only Samsung accredited repair center in Cape Town now...so when I took one of our Samsung phones to the Samsung Store in Canal Walk, they took it to WeFix.I immediately accepted their quote, which made no mention of stock problems...nor was there any communication until 3 days later I get an SMS stating they awaiting stock. For 2 weeks I tried to get any sort of communication other than their automated response to get an ETA as the phone was still usable and Id rather use it while we wait for stock. Finally I asked Samsung to get involved and eventually get the phone back...seemingly good as new. We shortly noticed some marks on each photo at specific zoom levels...but once again its impossible to get hold of these people!I will not use or recommend WeFix again OR buy another Samsung device until either WeFix shapes up or Samsung discredits them...and us another repair center.

Instead of getting hold of me before hand, I was told my phone was ready for pickup. I shortly found out that the required drivers for my screen to run had not been installed. I was told that Id need to take my phone home, back it up and then return for them to complete the installation.If they had bothered to ask, I would have told them that it was already backed up and it would have saved 2 hours of my work day, parking fees and the waste of petrol to drive the 40km round trip.I didnt get so much as an apology for the inconvenience.

Came into the store to get a quote on Monday. Replacement parts arrived Tuesday. Brought my phone in on Wednesday and within 1hr my S10 was repaired. I was informed constantly via email of parts being ordered, etc. Only drawback is that their phone line doesnt get answered or doesnt work. I never heard the phone ring once while in the shop. Otherwise, great work.

Brought my phone in on the 29th of August 2020 to get the screen repaired (job number CWSA268745). It was repaired and ready for collection on the 11th of September, however the technician broke the back panel in 5 places while repairing it. It is now the 2nd of October and Ive heard nothing from them regarding the back panel they promised to fix. The phone lines do not get answered and emails take days to get responded to. Do not recommend this terrible company.

Had a device sent to WeFix Canal Walk for repair - logged in 15 September, took 3 days before it was moved to assessment and repair. Still no reply and tried to call their landline and was greeted with an automated response saying that they dont take calls. Useless and no wonder they changed their name - dont resemble anything close to the Apple brand and ethos and shouldnt be associated in any way by using a clickbait name such as iFix.

An absolute disaster. I went to WeFix Buitensingel to get a screen protector for my phone. They didnt have stock and were not the least bit interested in helping me. Then I tried phoning the call centre, which is the only number available to see if any other branches had stock. They never answered the phone, instead I got a recorded message that said they coundnt answer because they were too busy fixing phones. That is clearly a blatant lie. Dont go near them.

UPDATE: Since I was asked by WeFix to elaborate so that they can #makeitbetterI have heard NOTHING from them and they still have my phone with NO word from them, its been a month. I assume they were asking me to elaborate so it looks like they care on public platforms, they clearly dont.Well my phone has been in for some time now. I had my screen replaced and then when I got my phone back my front camera was very blurry so I took it back and said the camera has to be replaced (at my cost). I think it was damaged/dirtied when the screen was being replaced. Now that my insurance is paying for the camera, I have been waiting for the replacement part for 2 weeks. When I brought the phone back for the camera issue I was asked why I had my phone because the system said they had it. I have tried calling repeatedly and no one answers. Emails get responded to occasionally... just an overall horrible experience. I hope this helps.
