Power down for more than 3 hours.107 telephone number do not exist.No use phoning the other numbers, nobody answers. My tax has increased but the service is non existent.Shame on you City of Cape Town.

Never thought I would be posting this review, but well done city cape town electricity department. Fast hassle free problem solved

WE at ATLANTIC GOLF Club has been sold and we like somebody to come and read all our electrical metres.

The most horrific experience . Loadshedding takes place on the 11th of July 2020 at 10am ,only back on , on the 12th of July 2020 at 14h00 .Then loadshedding takes place again at 18h00 on the 12th of July 2020, only back on, on the 13th of July 2020 at 12h00. Today the power has gone off at 16h00 . It is 22h00 an still no power. Each time we have loadshedding we have to make numerous calls to a toll free number where you wait 25 minutes each time and then give up, because its taking too long for your call to be attended to. Eventually when you do get through you still have to deal with someone who is more annoyed at you for having an issue. Extremely frustrated.

One of the worst governmental department any where in the world. This guy Jacobs comes and disconnects our power due to non-payment of property taxes which was increased 400% by council because we took council to court for illegal building permits and we won. No one answers their phone or email. They claim they are driving around checking service disruptions perhaps I should look for municipal vehicles parked on the main road or go to coffee shops looking for them. Called them 21 times but no answers, no answering machine nothing.

Trying to contact them about a faulty electricity box or unit but cant even find a email address.
