I would not only recommend you to friends and family, but to my business, clients and anyone else that wants true peace of mind. Beside the obvious strain of moving in itself, I was stressed beyond due to COVID 19 Delta Variant filling our hospitals in the Western Cape, with a wife 8 months pregnant, toddler at home, 76 year old at risk Grandmother/Nanny I honestly would have delayed the move. So much so that when I saw the behavior of another very reputable removal company outside my residence I cancelled the quote request.Mekedi and Team, were not only on time, but absolute professionals, kept their masks on throughout, sanitized continuously, helped me with the stuff I was moving myself, treated every piece of furniture with the upmost care. Their wrapping, carrying and loading was insanely fast yet carefully executed. When they were done they all got stuck in helping me. Their laughter and jokes, smiles (yes behind the masks) :) was a much needed and welcomed distraction on one of the most stressful days of my last year. Outstanding movers! If you are moving then dont even bother looking for another option than these guys.They say moving is one of the most stressful things in life. Dude & Van flip that around and make moving a pleasure and at some points in the process I think I was even having fun. We had the dream team (Ermelo, Tony, and Isaac) arrive at our place and suss it all out in minutes. They quickly wrapped everything that needed damage protection and began with some good old fashioned leg work. We lived on the 3rd floor with some tricky stairways and no lift and so I was worried this might cause some problems but they took it in their stride. Within 4 hours we were completely moved and it was painless. With Ermelos quiet confidence, Tonys great sense of humour, and Isaacs supreme Tetris packing skills, it was all done efficiently and professionally. In that time they never took a single break. They quote you quickly too and there are no hidden charges if you are upfront about what it is you need moved. Great value for money and theyll be my first call when I next need to move. They were easy to deal with and the entire process went unbelievably smoothly.I left everything in my backyard for them to collect while I was at work. I was apprehensive about not being there but they kept me up to date every step of the way. Someone called on arrival, I was sent photos of any items in question for removal, and when they were done I even received a video for confirmation.10/10 would recommend and I will definitely be using them again soon.

After making use of Dude & Van a week ago, moving does not feature anywhere on my list of stress factors. Theyre efficient, on time, fast and friendly. We just moved from a 3 bedroom house today. I have plenty to do, but this review cant wait.Seriously, I would tell any friend that any other mover is a gamble and likely mistake. Call Dude & Van. I didnt get multiple quotes because these guys get great reviews and the price seemed totally reasonable.They arrive and Im spinning because my own employee ditched me and I had planned to take a bakkie load of boxes away myself before Dudes arrived. These guys just say oh well help you load that quickly. A few minutes later the clutter was gone and my bakkie was loaded and they started wrapping my stuff. They wrapped all my soft stuff for free, with plastic that SHOULD cost R40 per meter or more. Thick blue stuff that will protect my stuff very well. FREE!Not once was I compelled to direct them or help them navigate the doorway. No idiots among them. All polite, all good communicators, all tidy, no swearing, no smoking outside, no carelessness with my stuff.They had me provide an inventory before my quote. I figured they would be really strict about it. They werent. They needed it to schedule the time and team and truck size, but they werent nit picking at all and actually offered to take more stuff that I had planned to return for later with my bakkie.Do yourselves a favour, people. Use Dude & Van. Moving doesnt have to suck.
