You have to be prepared to wait, especially when there is queue. I waited for 5 hours to get inside because there was a long queue. However, the workers were friendly and acted swiftly, from the security guards to the cashier. I was amazed.

Employees are so rude and inconsiderate, never explain the process to no one. Siya who works there is the trusted rude person who walks away while you still talking

Gave them a death certificate for my grand mother and the will as proof of address to renew my drivers license... The lady then tells me that my grandmother must draw a bank statement... Serviceis pathetic. No Covid controls at all. Employees dont use face masks... Another brilliantly run government institution...backward and dumb

The staff is amazing, it is actually the first time I feel this way about any government institution.

Fantastic and professional services rendered at this particular Department. Staff members are friendly, for example the Examiners are highly professional too. Keep it up. The only critic is that the Que line, takes exceptionally long for an individual to enter.

Some of the staff are somewhat rude. Like most other Traffic Departments, they never answer the phone which causes unnecessary visits and a waste of our time standing in hour long queues

I went there to book my drivers license on Monday, and the people there were very friendly and helpful.From the security guys, admin ladys and guys who did the eye testing. 🌻❤️

Snail service. No control over the que as people would just come from nowhere and be ahead of you in the que claiming that they were there before your arrival

The place is in the township so queuing for quite some time is expected as lot of people choose the center since its closer to them , however the staff there is friendly and they try to be as fast as they can.

I am so disappointed they took only 50 but I was there before 7am and they told rest of to go home. Poor service 🤦🏽‍♂️

I havent been verified on the system although I wrote my learners there two years ago. I am still confused as to what that means exactly? Is my learners not valid? Because it definitely hasnt expired.I shouldnt have to bring my proof of address, once again, if I am booking my drivers at the exact same place.

Collection of card at Centre was quick, hassle free and security as well as staff were friendly and efficient.

Awe, a well structured traffic department, we were there today, it was quick and easy business..

No star, because I went to book driving licence fr my daughter and I was made to book for learners even though the extension was made public by the minister of transport for expired learners and licences from March to 28 Feb this year, Im not happy about such treatment becuase we could not book when my daughter was free from exams due to lock down. Now she has to start all over evn though Minister extended. Zero star for that

Pure rubbish is putting it mildly..!!!! On 20/08/2020 I visited the place at exactly 07:45 However I only received assistance at 14:00 I was appalled with the slowness of the place. At the first widow the lady asked me what code and I responded what is the difference and she ignored me and sent me to the next window. I asked the other lady which code was for which car, and she also ignored me and called the next person. I then asked a coloured lady her name starts with a F the same question and she gladly assisted me and then further helped me fill out my forms very quickly, which was very nice of her. I received an ok experience at the eye testing room from a short Xhosa gentleman with a haircut. Got spectacular service at the payment window, both the Xhosa lady and gentleman were kind and friendly. Im deeply saddened that I couldnt mention the people who stood out for me and made my day so much better. They are the only reason for the two stars.

For a city of Cape Town building its extremely disgusting outside. People urinating everywhere and a sewer overflow outside their side vehicle entrance.

It is so dissapointing to be assisted by somebody who does not have a clue of what he or she is employed for.. the last thing you expecting is to get an bad attitude from the staff which is suppose to be assisting you... I reallly dont know what makes service differ when you are in the townships... then when you are these suburbs area... I so wish i had the ladies name who was assisting me at the information... I dont know why the would placed somebody at the information who does not have a clue if what are they here for

The worst traffic department Ive ever been.... Waiting in que for more than 1h30 and no one say anything no staff members on the floor or anywhere near 👹👹👹👹

For the pass 2months I have been phoning the traffic department but the phones keeps on being engaged .Ive got 2 landline numbers and both numbers are engaged.

It is not acceptable for the staff to tell people that they have closed assisting people who want to do code 10 and PDP at 10 oclock in the morning it is not fair at all
