Pleasantly surprised today when I received the greatest service. Was dreading the visit to the department but experienced nothing but excellence and proficiency.Not to mention I was in and out in 20min.

The employees here are so welcoming and friendly. I really appreciated their positive energy and their i want to assist attitude. Well done!!!

The wait was quite long and with Covid restrictions, it seemed as if the line was not moving at all. They set a limit of how many people they were gonna help and they helped everyone before closing. Very helpful and friendly staff.

Staff is very helpful and quick.Why i gave 3 stars? Is because if you go make your license, youll wait for more then a month to receive. I dunno if its only that traffic dept.

I waited 5 hours to get through the gate for the process of my renewal to start. There is no support staff to deal with enquiries, no communication to the people waiting to be assisted and they shut down during lunch. The only movement of the queue was after lunch to process people before their work day ended. Hardly any staff in the office. Be prepared to to sit on the pavement for most of the day. And bring lunch.

You reading this review already know. Its a South African Traffic department. Disgustingly poor management, rules that dont make sense and lazy people who will show you away if they are not in the mood to work (which is 3 days in a row now of me taking off work to renew my license). Dont bother phoning, obviously it does not work.This is what happens when you put incapable people in charge.

Service and waiting period perfect, as for the eye test unit now thats a big call out, multiple people had to go for private eye testing certification and passed,,so the question... when is these eye test units at Kuilsriver going to be replaced/upgraded?

Not organized properly.I had to wait 45 minutes to collect a drivers license and I was second in line

Im very disappointed at Kuilsriver Traffic Department I went to renew my drivers licence.......arrived there at 12h40 joined the que. After 10 Min of standing in the que I started a conversation with the last lady on the line she told me shes the last person for renewals for the day. I went to ask the security........he told me to come back tomorrow theyre done for the day and there was only about 5 people before me. I mean the office is supposed to operate till 15h30

Service was good and quick considering the COVID-19 regulations that needs to be adhered to. Keep up the good work

I saw two cars sped away in anger lol whats going on in there.

Could not believe my ears when Mr Manager with Glasses told me he will not be helping me and 3 other individuals one and a half hours before closing time!He will only help 50 people a day and no more!*The person in front of me was #34 and there was only 4 people in the reception.He also suggests that we arrive at 6AM tomorrow morning to be ready when they open at 8AM tomorrow!Himself and security started laughing on their way into the building because we were upset for not being assisted!Absolutely shocking!!! This traffic department used to be so effective and efficient in Kuilsriver and its now worse than home affairs in Paarl!

Very friendly staff and organised all COVID regulations followed yet efficient.

The long queues when signing up for learners and the system being offline today reduced it to 3 star rating . Otherwise they have amazing staff that is passionate and competent of their job.

Confusing. No direction from staff with regards to which line to stand in. No boards to direct one outside. Just random lines outside of the gate. Hopefully the experience inside will be better.

I have never seen a line stand still for over 3 hours, just to renew license card.

Booking your Learner License in October 2021 - test only in February 2022.

I was really surprised by the friendliness and eagerness of the staff to be of assistance. I renewed my drivers license and was quickly out of there. Thank you Kuils River traffic department

Very friendly and helpful people. I really appreciated the friendly lady outside checking that everyone had the correct paperwork that they needed for what they were there to do and answered questions. Once inside, everything was done smoothly and efficiently. Well done to everyone working there!

Such a great experience... I was done in 1 hour and half. Considering I took a leave day thinking I will be in lines the whole day I was pleasantly surprised at the level of professionalism. The guys running the line system were quite pleasant and gave good information.I was inside the building less than 15min... forms, eye test and payment area...Keep up the great work guys... you are giving Gauteng a run for their money...

The service at Kuilsriver Traffic Department is excellent. Went to renew my drivers license in July 2020.Once the Department opened, I was treated with great respect. Being a senior citizen I was offered a chair while waiting outside. I got assistance in filling in my application form and the eye test went well. Today I went to collect my drivers license and did not have to wait in a queue. I was in and out in a matter of 5 minutes. Thanks for the excellent service. Well done.👍👏👏👏👏👏

Visited the traffic department today to renew my driving licence. Can I just say that I am pleasantly surprised with the quick and fast assistance I received. All the representatives were helpful and made the whole process flow smoothly!!!There was a bit of a wait to get served but all in all a good experience!

Due to covid the lines are very long which caused early line cut-off.

Most of the staff is really nice some of them can cheer up a bit

The wait outside is a bit long but once you are called they give you all of their attention. Super friendly, professional service from all the people I came into contact with. From the guy that takes your details, the gentleman that does the eye-test and the ladies that take the monies and finally assist you with your temporary license print-out. I was very,very impressed. I would highly recommend them.

Had a great experience in October, but was upset by the service I received yesterday. I stood in line for 45 minutes without any progression which is really not acceptable.

Not had a nice experience. One lady has an attitude, very rude!!!! Security lady thinking she owns the place.

No dont go if you got a bad day but do if you have patience they will help you very tight ship thanks for the positive outcomes

Went to renew drivers drivers on 24 August 2020 .All the personnel were very professional and effecient at all times.It was a very pleasant visit to this department .

Offices were closed when I got there at 10am on Friday 15th January 2021. According to the website they are open.

A month ago on a Saturday I was there first for license renewal.. The gentleman t they eye testing section decided to help all the learners application for eye testing first this was like 10 people that came after me ....Today I just collected my daughters I’d at home affairs took her to the traffic department for a learners appointment and they refused to assist even though she just collected her I’d card with a finger print collection at home affairs and her residential address was on there... I’m confused is that not the most valid proof of address...

The person who were infront with the dreads was too hash rude and unfreindly i was even thinking if i can meet him in hospital im working and remind him about his rudness,or treat him the same but fortunately i pledge and nursing is a calling to me i wont but pls have a word with him ti change his ways.

Examiner with a very bad attitude Cant understand what shes doing there if she doesnt know how to work with people. I mean, as the candidate youre already nervous to pass out, then you have to deal with an examiner with no patience to say the least....

They should get more patient & respectful testing cops, this lady cop called mama was nasty & rude and clearly does not have patience with a 1st time youngster passing out being nervous offcourse which clearly puts more pressure trying to focus. If you dont have the patience & tolerance & respect & its not like you were driving perfect the 1st time, then change your job!!!
