What a lovely store. A great selection of products without the high premium mark ups. I had to control myself from not buying too much.Lovely range of cookies, crackers, rusks, cakes, muffins, seafood, puddings, etc.Spacious and clean and such a pleasure to shop.Cherry on the cake is the friendly staff, just made it my favourite little store.

Shop is immaculate...bt stock was low..and mostly the same stock in evry area...the lady with the weave at the door who sanitized whas so busy having a conversation in her language with a fellow colleague that we had to wait until she was done chatting...to sanitize us...bad management

I visited the shop on 3 previous occasions and purchased a few items and was happy. I picked up some cake for my daughters birthday yesterday ,October 2,2021 and sell by date was best before 6th October.The cake was so dry and we couldnt eat it. I was very disappointed as I was forced to go to Woolworths in Ladies Mile later the evening.

I was there at that time.. I was actually looking for the Crumb calamari but there was none.. They do sell it at access park and also diepriver nibble bits dont have much because all you find there is lots of rusks and biscuits.. Nothing much existing to buy they must sell more stuff that woolies sells.. and also some of the items very expensive its sepose to be a factory shop

Expected alot more. It does not feel like a bakery, as it has hardly any freshly baked goods on display. It is more like a store that sells baked goods in packets.

Generally the go to store for luxurious treats that are somewhat cheaper compared to the retail stores. And definitely enjoy the broad variety of risks available here.

On the Main Road in Diep River travelling South, set your compass if need be, see what I did there? Compass Bakery has delicious cakes, cookies, rusks at very, very reasonable prices. Dont be fooled by labels which indicate reject as the reject is as simple as a cake or cookie which is not the right shape or size or maybe even texture. The taste is the same! Best to call them to find out which are the best days and times to visit as stock definitely does sell out quickly. Personally, I am a great fan of the many kinds of rusks available and very often buy too much! But thats me...I like a lot!!!

Went to Compass Bakery this week on Tuesday. No-one checking if ppl disinfecting. People queued at tills...definitely not proper social distancing.

The staff are very friendly and the biscuits were delicious.

Its not a large shop with an extensive variety but boy oh boy you get good quality confectionery goodies at very reduced prices. The ideal is to get there when the delivery truck arrives. Theres always a bit of fussing about getting what youd like but weve always come away with what we wanted. Although people have to be patient theres always a nice vibe and consideration for others, amongst the regulars.

A wide variety of yummy muffins, biscuits and rusks. Savoury biscuits, chips and other yummy goods also on offer. A lot of Woolworths rejects which are reasonably priced. Plenty of parking.

Good quality products... Unfortunately the pickings are slim. I suppose its all about the timing. No guarantees on what stock is available or coming in. Its the same products that woolies stock at a fraction of the price. Brownies are awesome, juice is fantastic, biscuits, muffins and rice cakes, mini swiss rolls, rusks are all really tasty.

Easy to move around, parking is good, its clean, everything is priced on the shelf, and they are quick and pleasant at the till. The stock depends on external factors so if youre looking for a specific item its best to check with them before you go.

I was unhappy with my visit today. I usually spend at least R300 a time. With my last visit I spent over R500 and checked my goods and till slip. I found I was charged an extra R26 and phoned the outlet. I was told its no problem when visiting again to bring slip and will be refunded or deducted. No time frame was given. Well today I was told I should have come earlier. They have lost a value letter customer.

Early mornings are a bit chaotic in this shop so its better to pitch later in the morning! Focusing mainly on rusks and biscuits, but a few savoury products are also available. Pies are often sold out and vegetarian options are limited or not available. Prices are good though.

This branch has a super selection of baked goods. The staff are friendly and helpful. Shelves are well packed and the shop is clean. I would easily recommend this Compass Bakery shop.

This bakery used to have such a great selection of biscuits and cakes but these days, the selection is very limited. No atmosphere. Boring !!

Cheap reject baked goods.I dont know why they were rejected because to me, they taste just great.Muffins are an absolute bargain.

They have different items available depending on what has come out of the kitchen. Sometimes there is an amazing selection which leaves you wanting everything. And sometimes you are unlucky. But always worth a try.

Great place to buy all your Woolworths off cuts. Very good prices and the staff are always friendly. Best to call them before you go to check if the new stock has arrived as their Malva puddings and Cupcakes sell out quickly.
