Beautiful place for the elderly with great service and medical care.

Secure security. Lovely pool and braai area. Clean and well kept. Great social facilities, dining room, lounge, bar areas and coffee shop.

My personal experience of the frail care has not been good and I would DEFINITELY not recommend it for anyone. The cameras are only in the bedroom and arent aimed at the patients but rather on the room... Because of the high theft rateOkay place for able-bodied older people (50 years is minimum age for residents). Its a life right purchase. The food is tasty and nutritious, on the whole, and they have a small cafe that sells chips, sweets, cool drinks, homemade pies and muffins /cake slides. Tea and coffee as well as breakfast can also be ordered as there are some tables and chairs to sit at.They have some solar panels, a heated swimming pool and are eco-friendly. I like that.PS: update : after several serious complaints by the residents and family, Pinelands Grove is attempting to give better care in the frail care unit. Whilst the petty theft remains, the aides are trying to be friendly and helpful to residents and family alike

Terrible... the smell is disgusting and I often have to run through sections because I want to gag! Theres dog poo at some of the entrances thats been trodden in and just left - the establishment admin hasnt cleaned up or asked the dog owners to do so and take better care of their own pets.At one stage my sister and I complained about my mother being mishandled in frail care and the then head went to our father and threatened to ban us from the premises, which would mean my parents would seldom see us as dad doesnt have the strength to readily take mom out.Not the way to treat our precious old folk!

Arrived some months ago, warmly welcomed and found a retirement community of friendly caring people in a modern, beautifully appointed home where all the service units, frail care included, offer personal care and support of excellent quality. Greatly enjoyed and much appreciated.

Well run, secure facility for the over-55s

I live at pinelands grove and have done for the last 18 months, the accommodation is first rate, the daily 3 course meals produced by the kitchen are excellent and in my opinion the frail care staff take very good care of the residents in the facility
