The laptop guys are great. I bought a laptop from them online and got confirmation of my order right away as well as follow up emails telling me the progress of my order. I ordered on Wednesday and on Friday had my new baby! Thanks guys, keep up the great work.
I ordered my laptop a month ago and I still have not received it. No updates, no tracking number and no communication. Its like the team does not even care. I dont know how many times I asked for updates and I get zero response. I will NEVER use these guys or recommend them to anyone else. Not happy at all.Update: guess what, still no response from the laptop guys. They just replied so that they can look like they are doing something about. I still have not received any tracking number or proof of delivery or that my laptop has been shipped. I had trusted these guys with my money but they treat me like this. They dont even answer their phones so dont bother. I would not wish this stress on anyone.
The initial online sales experience was great. That is where it ended. I ordered and paid for my laptop on 27 July 2021. It was delivered in a half working state on 19 August. Sure they had to upgrade the memory but this I was told would take a day or two. On delivery the battery was not detected. The upgraded hard drive was also not formatted. I took it to a technician in town who showed me the loose battery cable and demonstrated how this could never have been plugged in before shipping. The lack of communication (I had to constantly ask for updates) and the poor setup quality leaves me no option but NOT to recommend The Laptop Guys.
The laptop guys were phenomenal in helping me buy a new laptop. I would recommend them any day.
Staff ordered a laptop from these chaps. No laptop. R7200 gone. Poor comms, constant excuses. Now we have to waste the time taking them to the cops and court. Avoid.
