I bought a second-hand laptop from Southfield IT and used it twice before experiencing problems. Lloyd the owner said I could come by his house on the way to the airport, he fixed the problem. I got to Joburg and the laptop again was not working. It kept telling me that the operation system was not found. I called Lloyd immediately and said I would return the laptop for a refund. I called him again today as I am back from Joburg. He suggested we do an exchange with my old laptop which I had traded in to him BUT he has to take the hard drive out of the current laptop. I believe Lloyds business has been affected by the recent Cape storms and I feel it with him. Lloyd told me he wants me to be happy BUT he also has to be fair to himself. On reflection I do not want my old laptop in exchange for this one. Lloyd has sold me junk. I am very unhappy and I hope that tomorrow when I call him he will give me a refund. Lloyd does not realise that the customer should always be happy. If he does not give me a refund I shall never again support the small black business person. I am happy to say Lloyd has refunded me. Thank you.
