Quiet, clean, orderly...whats not to find pleasant of this comic shop? I prefer that the workers here are reserved and not in your face.My only wish is that this shop stocked more memorabilia and merchandise of The Crow but other than that superb and wide selection.

Im new to comics, but walking into Readers Den is an incredible experience. Super friendly and helpful staff, and I even ordered some comic boards and bags and received them the same day! Amazing

This place is a haven for someone looking for specific comics and other related items. Its never truly packed and the staff are helpful.

Delighted to add another Dark Tower graphic novel to my book shelf. My 11 year old companion was a little disappointed in the limited Manga that was on sale. As all the books are sealed in plastic it maybe useful to have an age guide on the shelves.

These people really know their stuff. Would shop here anytime.

Im so stoked to have visited the store. I bought a few comics including Kwezi which was in xhosa. I really hope thats the spelling and had to get to take it back. The attendants were so cool with it. And I got a replacement. Hope I can come for fan con next year. See ya on the flipside.

Staff are very knowledge and friendly. They have a wide variety of comic books and graphic novels.

One of the only Comic Book Shops in Cape Town. It is a nice place with a good selection, and the staff are willing to order in for you any comics they dont have available. Unfortunately, they wrap all their comics and plastic and dont allow people to read them in the store which is inconvenient (and kind of petty, in my opinion). Some of the staff is also not very nice. However, you dont really have any other options on places to go for comics.

This is my favourite geeky store to go to. They have amazing figurines, posters and a large variety of comics. Its geek heaven honestly

Readers Den is pretty cool. I found it on free comic book day. The staff were fun to chat with. There is an overall chilled vibe and they knew their stock well.

There is a huge variety of comics, manga, figurines and so much more! Plus they are complaint with all COVID regulations

Best comic shop in town, if not the country. Regular new stock and stacks of old stuff for the serious collector. Mahdi and Nizar Abrahams have been doing this for 25 years. They know their stuff. They keep up with trends and exhibit regularly at comic cons and book fairs. THE place to go for your comic fix.

This is THE comics store in SA!The guys are friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and passionate. They have a wide selection of comics, graphic novels and associated merchandise.Its a bit bit pricey, but because of exchange rates, this is understandable, but still a lot cheaper than importing yourself!

From when I started again to collect comic books, Readers Den was the only store that was willing to help me (since I am in PE). Thank you very much for all your effort in my orders and for having such an amazing store! This is really one of, if not the best comic book store in South Africa!!!

Pretty much the only place in town for good graphic novels. A good selection of European graphic novels too although the staff are a bit indifferent and not very helpful.
