Everyone has different learning styles and can be taught like them but in some courses you are all on your own.

Horrible experience, especially on the IT side. Complete lack of competence from most of the lecturers, a lot of them just sit there like useless statues, while theres a room full of struggling students. The very least they could do for students in the MLM section is provide well constructed and helpful videos, (since on site lecturers are clearing not going to do it) instead, the site attempts to explain complex concepts with often found, a single paragraph or even just a sentence (not to mention the bad grammar, which is just so unprofessional.) Please do yourself a favor and rather enroll in a free IT course, which theres a lot of online. Or pay R2000 online for a well constructed course in your field of interest. You will get much better quality for a much lower price (better than paying 7k a month for a disfunctioning website, and lectors who could easily be mistaken for fossils, because thats basically all youre getting.) So unless you are into the whole pre-school setup, and absolute ignorance and lack of assistance, I would highly recommend you do NOT enroll in an MLM / IT course, especially if its for the higher certificate.

Im a 1st year BA Graphic Design student here and I am really enjoying my course. Our lecturers are friendly, helpful and encouraging, giving us constructive criticism on our work. One must understand that every lecturer has their own teaching style and every lecturer is different. Never take any criticism you receive personally and understand that it is all meant to help you to improve as a student and, in my case, as a graphic designer. What I really like about our classes is that they are small. This makes it easier for our lecturers to focus more attention on us individually. Never be afraid to ask questions. The fees are slightly higher than some other tertiary institutions, but it is all worthwhile in the end as we acquire knowledge and skills within a comfortable and encouraging environment.
