Lyrical Pilgrimage Open Mic in person event hosted by Nina Alexia Brazzo held here after having countless online events. It was eye opening, heart opening, and a safe place to allow strangers to feel comfortable with sharing even me who is the least artistic person I know. Just telling my story in public was a milestone because only home felt safe. But now Jack the owner of Coffee Jess, made it feel like home. The energy was light, healing and encouraged us to share. Great menu, delicious and well priced meals, to go or to sit down. Found out Jack, is a man of talent. He is humble, he is kind, he is inviting and from the 1st time you meet him, you will love him. He opened a cautious heart of mine and showed me the way to the light.
On the busy Imam Haron Road in Claremont. CoffeeJess is a small but cute coffee stop. Great cappuccinos and pancakes. At the time of my review, cappuccino is R20 and pancake for R5. Cute little book corner - you can either read it there or you can buy it if you like the book. They also serve sandwiches and sushi and they sell biscuits. Owner Igor is super friendly and we hope that CoffeeJess will make its footprint in our neighbourhood.
They have moved to Woodstock & are now @WEX 1 under the Handle Lets Cook Shop 8. Delivering under the Bolt banner.Staff are very friendly. Place is clean. The have a lovely selection of books which while u r waiting for your food to be done u can read. I had 6 pieces of Sushi & a lovely cup of coffee.
