Hard to find spot, but this is the real deal - speciality coffee at its best without frills + Cosy, personal, local, friendly atmosphere.Beware: it is disturbingly easy to hang out and pass a few too many hours drinking coffee, chatting to the coffee team who are passionate about coffee, or chatting to the Reef surf shop guys who are passionate about surfing... cool place and great coffee. Safe gated parking. Simple Bru and the Reef surf shop are conjoined in the same building

Didnt have a coffee...but Andrew who works at Reef Store Bloubergstrand was excellent with my teenage daughter today ... from choosing to setting up her surfboard...it was a big long awaited saved up day for Daddy and Daughter and he really went out of his way to make it a memorable experience for her today (even Dad landed up getting a board!)...Well Done Andrew...and thank you so very much ! Your personal stories along the way and making my daughter feel so very welcome at the store and for getting her involved with setting up her board went along way...we appreciate it more than you know and it will be a life long, positive, impressionable memory for her. Visited the Melkbos branch and had a wonderful coffee – with many choices of milk alternatives. Great wifi and lovely atmosphere. Good for a quick coffee, casual meeting or even a few hours of remote work (although they only have one plug point).Really enjoyed the experience!

Great coffeе, excellent and polite staff, they put roasting machine in the coffee shop, so you can sit and watch how they roast. Also there are nice outside tables in the shade.Also its inside big surfing shop.Good place for working and chilling.

Lovely shop with such an amazing vibe! Jacque and Flippie are such wonderful people! Not just a coffee but you also learn about roasting coffee which is done in the shop. Keep up the good work!

Certainly the best coffee in South Africa. Im a Brazilian traveling through this immense country, I tried a lot of coffee, but in Simple bru I found the best mix of coffee with milk. I love the whole team, very welcoming people and beautiful store.
