Absolutely love this coffee shop. The employees are so friendly and always smiling, which makes the atmosphere absolutely enjoyable. Each cup of coffee is made with love and care. I cant wait to visit them again!

I should give 6 stars. Coffee was outstanding (cortado and flat whites)-- baristas are so friendly and helpful. They also have the best value loyalty- card Ive seen! We went straight away and had seconds!!

We love this shop. It is a daily place for my family and I to go to. The community around it is great and I think that has something to do with the incredible staff. Music is always on point as well. Although I do tend to think they are guessing I am older than I really am. More than once they’ve seen me come in and then put on music someone ten years older than me would listen to. 🤣

This is a great coffee spot. The best part is the onsite roaster, obviously the coffee is going to be fresh!They do have some nibbles on offer but the attraction is undoubtedly the fresh coffee.

Bought a flat white with a R100 bill and waited for my change while sipping a tepid coffee as warm as just out of a cows udder. Rubbish and not the first time either. After finishing my unpleasant coffee I asked for my change and the guy was insistent that he gave it to me! After explaining his error he still implied the possibility of me being wrong! Kak coffee and kak attitue. Youve lost a customer and i will be sharing this experience with friends... so perhaps youve lost several.

Far and away the best coffee you will get in the far south - perhaps even in Cape Town. They roast their own and the aromas alone are enough to attract inside (or at the outside tables) all who pass by. The service is fast, friendly and efficient and you can buy the freshly roasted beans to take home.

Date of incident: 28 December 2019We were on a roadtrip to Simonstown on this particular day. On the way we decided to buy coffee at Blue Door.We asked the cashier for more information about their coffee and instead of telling us more about their coffee variety the cashier went and rung up coffee, clearly not in the mood for conversation.Really pushed for time we just bought coffee and went for the normal cappuccino which was like R30 (small one by the way).As we stand in the row we see other people are getting bigger cups and we asked the cashier about it and his response was I have already made your coffee, which was a let down because we didnt even know about the bigger option.This was a real let down for us since we are coffee lovers and the experience wasnt memorable at all.

Seriously good coffee that is roasted in the shop. Trying out the different blends and love the Blue Door House blend the best so far.
