I must admit that slowly but surely this Pick n Pay is letting me down more and more. It is in a very convenient spot, which is why I still do my shopping there, but in the past year I find myself only coming back home with half the groceries that were on my shopping list. Canned mushrooms and coffee machine descaler are things I havent seen in a while. The Melitta brand for coffee is no longer stocked. Often 1x4 filter paper is out of stock. The vegetable quality is declining and so are the ready-made foods: we had to go back several times to return mixed vegetables or roast-veg packs or creamed spinach because it was bad. This also happened on several occasions with milk already, even though the expiry date says otherwise. Sometimes there is only brown onion soup. Other times there is only white onion soup. To get your vegetables weighed, you often have to hunt someone down in the store. Apples and bananas often have so many bruises - looks like the bags were thrown around. So my shopping experience there has become a little unreliable.

Do yourself a favor and have a meal at their restaurant at the entrance. Great service and lovely food. Large portions and very well prepared.

Possibly one of the worst PnP’s around... store layout makes no sense, service is shockingly slow, never enough open tellers, and management look confused. Avoid!

We continually request the money to be spent to be taken off what we are spending but it is not done.

Terrible service. Store is busy at 17h50 on a Monday afternoon with only 3 cashiers. Manager just shrugged his shoulders. Use to love this store.

Meat products are good. Fruit and vegetables can be a bit on the expensive side. Provide good service

Ordered a sushi platter at Pick n Pay. Was really good, well made and great price. Around R130 for 16 pieces which was not a bad deal, was a bit hesitant at first but ended up being great.

Very busy because of it being Friday. Found a helpful person who directed me to all the places I needed to go. Cashier and packer polite and helpful. Thank you.

Easy access to the centre with ample under roof parking available. Welcoming and friendly staff. Fresh produce and overall very well stocked. More than enough space between aisles. Very quick and efficient staff managing the tills. Painless experience.

My store of choice in the town,simply because of the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff, at all levels. Shelves are well laid out and neat, portraying fullness at all times. Cashiers, whether busy or quiet are efficient and friendly. Their staff training on customers shines through.

Great. Buy one problem. Only Tygervalley stocks 5L spirit vinegar. Why??? Was in ur area. Very disappointed.

Love that one can park just off Durban Rd for quick easy access. Lovely store and good shopping at the new Milady and Clicks as well.Also free and fairly safe parking.

The management is extremely helpful. I had a minor problem with their Mediterranean Rolls and management quickly assisted me.

Place fine for the purpose of buying groceries. In a mall setup. Place busy also due to surrounding shops. The shop itself is a bit cramp.. So space when you move with trolley can be cumbersome due to other movements. Parking enough

They have most fantastic salad selection and made foods. Never had something that does not taist home made. Best thing is seeing the older people queuing for Sunday lunch best value for money. Always have what i am looking for even Sushi lady makes while you do your shopping for nice fresh sushi for the kids

A fairly big food store with enough variety in products to fit most of your needs. Most definitely the best place to stop at in Durbanville if you are looking for food items.

A really lovely and well-stocked Pick n Pay if youre in the area... They are open from about 7:30am and serve fresh donuts, 🍩 lunches, 🥙 and sushi 🍣🍤 daily from about 10am. They have a really good range of stock on hand as well, and service from staff has always been friendly. Keep it up 👍

Convenient, friendly service, loads of specials, family store

A few years ago they were just one of the stores I went to until one day after completing my shopping when i reached the till unrealized my wallet was at home.The manager who i met for the first time that day insisted that I proceed with the purchase and said i could pay when i come back to the store. He signed my till slip offering to take responsibility for if i did not return.This is now my favourite store for shopping in Durbanville. The staff knows my family including my grandchildren.I always walk out with a smile and all the things I need are there and often on a special.Llewellyn De Kock

Its as you would expect from most Superstores. Has the usual things. One criticism is that it could improve on its catering for the vegetarian community at the bakery. There are times when there is nothing available them.

I enjoy shopping at this Pick n Pay because Ive always found them to be well stocked with almost everything I need. What I also like is that they stay current with regards to new products that are available on the market, that way I know Im not missing anything.

I received the worst service from one of the cashier called Lennie if im not mistaken yesterday 20/10/2019.....I requested R10 vodacom then she told me that they dont have it but she will give me 5 rand ones......next thing she prints 4 R5 vodacom airtime. When I told her that asked for 10 rand airtime she was so rude she told me that I asked for 4 5 rand airtime and there is nothing she can do.....she spoke to her colleagues in afrikaans, she did not even apologies.

Good. A smaller PnP, but its very convenient.

Im a regular shopper as I live nearby. Lately Im having a lot of occurrences of prices that rings up at the cash register being different from the prices on the shelves. Often times with the Smart Shopper discounts that dont seem to deduct.Some of the cash registers are clueless when I point this out and today I had to go through 3 different people to eventually do a manual overwrite (even though thats what I told them to do in the first place).Additionally, many products are lately placed with incorrect labeling/pricing. e.g. 800g marked on the shelf with the 400g product placed by the label.Ive brought this up with store managers many times as I seem to experience this at least twice a week lately.
