Food is very plain and simple

Decent food overall cant complain about the food, a little pricey but well worth it Id sayThe correct way to enjoy this is on Tuesday when you get the two for one special like me and a friend did. Now I only give 3 stars cause I found the food somewhat lacking not to say its bad just that its missing that singular element to bring it all together

I absolutely love Wok in Box. Their prices are reasonable, service great and portions generous. Id recommend giving this restaurant a try :) :).

Stay away! Paid R125 for Chicken Kung Po that had little chicken and half the peanut harvest of 2017. I hate being ripped off and I hope this place goes the same way as previous restaurant

What a disappointment!Our first time ordering from this place - We had to wait plus/minus 30 minutes for 2 normal beef chow mein.After getting our food we were highly disappointed as the noodles were super doughy and it wasnt evens beef, it was pork.One of us could have been allergic or not eat pork - Your quality check of food is not evens 5 on a scale of 10.Will not be ordering from here again, there is better out there.

Tasteless and uninspiring prawn stirfry and the veg springrolls burned and fried in oil that tastes old

My favorite place, food is always amazing, quantity is generous and the staff always friendly.

Shocked and revolted to find the staff member at the counter clipping their nails on the counter where you order your food and the nail clippings falling around on the counter and being wiped off. It’s a place where food is being prepared not a bathroom. Very unhygienic never returning.

The quality of food is really a concern. I have also seen how dirty the kitchen is. It would be best not to order from them. In any case the quality of food is not worth the high prices. They could also do with friendlier and more professional staff.

Food is always great. And the lady taking your order at the desk is HILARIOUS! ALWAYS SMILING. Great energy about her and always dancing when we get there. One of the main reasons I buy food from you guys.

We are weekly visitors to this shop. Sometimes twice a week. Very happy with well priced food. Good quality and friendly service. Only problem is we need to drive a significant distance to get there but that will not stop us...

Horrific food! I literally got physically ill while eating. Not sure if something was stale, the noodles were overcooked or what but it was a slimy mess. Absolutely DO NOT recommend

To say the food I purchased today is mediocre is an overstatement. The Kung Po chicken with peanuts is actually Kung Po peanuts with chicken. Will never buy from here again.

Oily beef chow main lacked vegetables and key flavors. The pork and chives dumplings had more chives so they must call it chives and pork dumplings rather. Very bad sorry.sweet and sour pork had dominant tomato sauce flavor with large raw chopped onions. I will not order here again. All the best to those that try but they didnt do it all for us.

I guess its just another place try to copy Jade Tavern. Food was okay, not so impressive. Why everybody try to copy Jade Tavern?

Who ever was working behind the till the evening of the 27th of July needs to change her attitude or get a different job. No interest in helping the clients. I get life happens but you are working in the services sector, so put a smile on your face and next time I ask you what is nice to order on the menu, dont tell me order anything you want (while rolling your eyes)

Food is really tasty and well prepared

I really loved this restaurant... until they changed it...I used to order their spicy beef dish. It is now called pepper beef.The meal was very tasty and full of flavor, and now everything about it is tasteless. The addition of pepper corns were a terrible idea.The egg fried rice is still wonderful though, but I am not coming here again. I have had much better Asian food in the east.

The staff are not very friendly. They prefer yapping to each other. The food is mediocre. Actually has zero taste. Very disappointed as it used to be good. Dont waste your money. Spend you money elsewhere. There are much better places.

Delicious prawn crackers. Quick service. Really good sweet and sour pork, egg fried rice, and chicken fried rice. Will definitely be back.

Just had a meal and phoned the store, since the relocation the quality has been poor, our meals sweet and sour pork and chicken both had about 3 pieces meat in with big portion of vegetables and many onions, not the normal good quality very disappointing

The service and prices used to be very good. Over the last 2 years the service has gotten worse and worse. The food is not as affordable anymore. They also get our orders wrong and we have to come back to rectify our order.

Portions are massive, the flavors are good. Unfortunately the pasta was way overcooked. Pasta is a big part of the dish. You can make or break the dish with it. Hope it will improve.

Weekly visitor to this place, they now offer sushi which Im told by my wife is incredible

Love the food. But so difficult to come and buy, the lady that takes your order is so rude.Maybe a suggestion, get a tablet and let customer order themselves, and pay card etc.This way, I don’t have to see the ladies rude face with her rude attitude.靠，實在太沒禮貌了。就算東西在好吃，也吃不下。那張臭臉。

Worst service. Food portions for what you pay are ridiculous! Never ever buying from tjem again

Ordered online and food was not ready when I called to collect. Pancake duck dish was not great. R120 and pancakes stoggy and no spring onions as specified on menu. Duck was nicely cooked and crispy. Ginger pork dish was very tasty.

Worse fried noodle experience.Sushi on the other hand was good.

Unfortunately we will not be back and I will not recommend to anyone... . it was terrible.The sweet and sour chicken tasted like watery tomato soup with chunks of warm tomato.... (which I asked to leave out along with the other veg).The crispy beef was not bad, lacked salt but edible, I ordered the upsize portion which I later discovered had majority onions taking up the space in the box.Money wasted as we threw most of it away.

I always get their Tuesday special... Buy one get one free.. Love it really good portions

Great takeaway / or sit down restaurant,Friendly staff and owner. I always get their Honey Soy Tofu and the flavour is just perfectly umami. Value for money right here, I will always come back.

Nice food, spicy def means spicy which is nice. The fried noodles mighy have been a bit overcooked. Portuons are nice and big

The restaurant was still open aswell as their doors. Someone was at the counter talking to the lady behind the counter while we were standing and waiting, then the person finished and the lady at the counter told us theyre closed they cant help us anymore...with the door open wide and someone ordering infront of us... Very unprofessional.

Pork Bao were amazing but Chicken Wontons were burnt to a crisp. I think they were bargaining on us leaving and discovering it at home.

Food is well priced, but not the best quality

Delicious Chinese food. Good sized portions at reasonable prices and I love the take-away boxes that look like in the movies!

Good food but the quantity does not justify the pricw.

Terrible, terrible, terrible!!!! There is more semi cooked chunks of tomato, onion and green pepper than actual meat/pork or prawn!!! No rice!!! Spring rolls doughy with virtually no filling!!!! Absolutely awful. Avoid it if you want something edible!!!!

Shockingly bad service. Staff doesnt care about customer service at all. Took them over 30 minutes to make a simple meal, and then the lady behind the counter blames the kitchen staff. Utter incompetence. Can not and will not recommended this place at all.

Why use peanuts in a chicken cashew dish.My dish was filled with peanuts and not a cashew nut in sight.Rather put 4 cashew nuts in instead of 50 or more peanuts.Change the name to chicken peanuts its misleading and false advertising.I have taken a photo and kept the nuts as proof.
