Really good fresh chinese food. Havent tried the sushi yet, but its on the to do list. Really friendly staff greet you like a favourite customer when you walk in. Everything is made fresh to order and delicious. Its our go to for chinese.

The restaurant is nice inside with a modern oriental decor. Prices are moderate. Food tastes good, portions are generous. Their prawn noodles have a particularly rich flavour, the duck in oyster sauce is tender inside and crispy outside. The oyster sauce is maybe too thick and overpowering. Spring rolls are crunchy and fresh inside.

This is a very clean, neat and well-ventilated restaurant, three major issues in these times. I went because their menu has something hard to find: wonton soup, which I ordered along with steamed pork buns. Everything was fresh and the ingredients are expensive, including shiitake mushrooms and sesame oil, and the cabbage was fresh and obviously freshly sliced and added just before it was brought to the table. The flavours? Excellent. Ill be happy to return with friends because this is a hidden gem, with great value for money because of the really generous portions, and out of this world flavours. The owner takes great pride in the quality of her work and it really shows. You will leave feeling like youve just been to Shanghai.

Sushi is good quality. Cooked food is good. Service could be a bit better - felt a little upfront, but it could just be me. The mood thats set in the restaurant is true to the culture & it feels homey.

Mimis sushi and Chinese food was delicious as usual. Definitely the best, (and most generous), hand rolls in town!!The sushi buffet at R160 for all you can eat is a bargain, especially if you have hungry boys!!

Previously the food has been OK. The sweet and sour pork was ok, but the beef chop suey taste weird, almost off or seafoodish.. Not sure. And the chef is not Chinese... No need to say more.

Amazing sushi buffet available, Mimi the owner is very generous on the fish. She also offers warm buffet on week nights as well as Ala Carte. Oriental cuisine also offers take away. I highly recommend Mimi and the oriental cuisine.

Prices are good and I must say even though the food is filling enough one always feels as though one would like to try something else. So cozy, I found it hard to leave.
