I dont know about other phones but with iPhone, they are clueless on what they are doing. I took my phone in for screen change, 2 weeks later it was restarting itself every 5 seconds. I went on Saturday morning at 9 am to have it checked and they were closed with no sign of when they would be opening. When I eventually managed to find them, they first convinced me that its working until it restarted, then they gave me all sorts of reasons why its my fault (first it was because of scratches on the screen, next it was my battery and If they replaced it, it was a 50/50 chance that my phone would work again, then the other guy said because I dropped it, it could be motherboard). This was now clear to me that this was guess work. I opted to take the 50/50 chance and pay R350 for new battery. Then they asked me to go to iphone shop in Century city rather. The other guy eventually opened my phone and cleaned it with what looked like a toothbrush and closed it up. For now, it seems to be ok, for now. I then recommended that next time to let the iphone customers in on risks before they embark on work, the guy who speaks better english went all defensive on me among other things mentioned is that I should thank them for wasting their 30 minutes on me instead of helping other customers. Consider yourselves warned, zero accountability and non-existent after service.
