Yet again great service was received from Juan Saunders who assisted me. I did an application for an additional cellphone contract on 02/09/2021. Today(03/09/2021) I went to pick up my brand new device.Thank you Juan for answering all our questions and assisting with such an uplifting mood and welcoming feel.

Appalling service, not well trained and misinformed staff that tell you contradictory information. What I was told would take about 15 mins ended up being 2 days! Of which I was phone-less because my trade in device was wiped out prematurely. I spent close to 2hrs in the store on Saturday filling in documentation and gave them my ID to make copies...only to be asked to resend the very same documentation via email the very next day! On the final day when I got to collect my device found out the information I had been given by two sale assistants when I initially came in, was false and it was too late to have my old number ported as that had to be part of the initial application (mind you I had specifically told them I wanted to keep my old number)...as a cherry on the top I was told I had to pay an additional R250 service fee (which I had never been told of).Go there at your own discretion and with a lot of patience.

I went to this store yesterday, and sked for a iPhone 12 Pro. The gave me a iPhone 12 Pro Max. I Only realized this when I got home when I opened the box. So I called the store about the issue, after I waited the whole morning for them to call me back, they informed me that They will have to send the phone away first and then only refund me 80% of the value. I am extremely unsatisfied with the service from this store and will from now on do all my Apple shopping at a different iStore. Seems that these guys arent prepared for good customer service.

Misinformation about Apple care+ is going to cost me R431 more! But this stores manager wont talk to customers.I bought an iPad 8th Gen beginning of December at istore Canal Walk It was exceptionally crowded and getting help was difficult. I bought an iPad and glass protector. When we asked if we needed to buy apple care+ the man said we didnt need to that day we could come back later. Apple.com states you have 60 days to buy icare+.I went to iStore Tygervalley and they would not sell me the card for coverage you must buy it at purchase!. When I asked to talk to the manager I was told no I could not speak to the manager, they would not sell it to me. When I told them apple says you can buy it within 60 days they said were not Apple.So in this store you cant speak to a manager if theres a problem?I was going to upgrade my phone from android to Apple but I have decided I wont buy from any istore ever. Not only that but Im going to convince my family and friends Android Huawei is better and you dont have to deal with an istore ever again.

I was very impressed at service at this istore given that it was my first time. I recently bought macbook on Facebook, then I tried reseting it to only get stuck at uploading the os system.I went in thinking I would pay, but to my surprise they checked if it was bought there and it was. So they reinstalled it for me Free of charge.Very impressed!!!

This is worst store for after sales service. Brought my daughters new apple watch SE in because of a faulty strap, three days after the purchase. Then I was informed the unit would be replaced with a new watch. Received notification on Tuesday 05 January 2021, Ready for collection. Get to the store, sorry watch not here, waiting for it to arrive from the Waterfront iStore. Get another notification on Thursday 07 January 2021. Get to the store, same hogwash the watch still at the Waterfront. The store manager instills no confidence in resolving this issue, just makes excuses. The level of service of pathetic. Will never buy or have anything serviced or repaired at this store, STAY AWAY people. In meantime my daughters disappoint about her Christmas gift that cannot be returned to her, just grows.Wish there was an option for zero stars or negative stars.

I did an online contract application on the 5th of March, and its the 16th today. - I kind of threw a fit.Juan Saunders made contact with me and sorted me out in less than 2 min via email.The service I have receive this far is exceptional. Asked the staff outside how it would work if I would like to trade up my iPhone as per their website on MTN. He took my to the tech department that took more than an hour to start assisting me, took another 30 min just to give me phone a value. When I finally got to a sales consultant they blatantly stated You can not do that on MTN...Thanks for wasting my TIME and thanks to their website for false advertising... however I am sure if I go to another istore it would not be a hassle... not the first time I received very poor service here

Looking at the reviews online not many people seem to be happy about the service, however my wife and I had a very pleasant experience. We were there on a busy weekend and there was an employee at the door who gave us great advice and saved us lots of time.

Win arguments & lose customers!On 21st Feb 21 @ 09h30 I took my MacBook for software update at Istore Tygervalley, was told it will take about 4hrs & they will sms/call me when ready. No call the whole day. On the 22nd I called the call centre again , no trace of my laptop; I asked them to find out from Tygervalley; the laptop was ready. I collect the laptop, get home set it up & discover that my MS office has been removed. Contacted call centre and online chat , they apologised and asked to book it in for reinstallation for free. I asked them to 1st confirm with the store , Donovan from Tygervalley called me & told me they are not responsible for that ; I should’ve known & told them I had a “sensitive software”. That I should buy a new software. Istore is not customer centric and they have never been. I asked him to take a moment and read their online reviews to see how they treat customers. I told him I have washed my hands on Istore SA Apple products due to the appalling customer service that has been going on for years. They are arrogant & think they are too big to fall. I might be a “drop in the ocean” for them. The mighty have fallen thinking they were too big to fall.

Impossible to get hold of anyone. I need four MacBook chargers, but since the istores get such horrible reviews, want to make sure they have it in stock before driving about 130km to collect. You cannot phone a store directly, and after holding for very long on their call centre, the lady just hung up. She has my cellno but didn’t bother to phone back. What a useless company to do business with.

We were in the Apple store in Tygervalley today - the staff are unfriendly - lazy - they told us they were closing in 20 minutes and we should come back another day.... this after we stood around waiting for 30 minutes for someone to serve us. An embarrassment to the Apple brand.

Worst service ever!!!!Received iPhone with wrong sim card number (number that belongs to some one else) to top things the same sim card after month is deactivated. Sales person useless had to investigate myself from network provider that the contract wasnt processed properly from istore. Returned iPhone back to the store cant be paying for service that Im unable to receive!!!!!!!!!!!Incompetent staff

Sold us a used broken macbook cover before lockdown. Now refusing to refund accusing us of damaging the product. Bunch of thieves. Quick to sell you a used product and then refusing to take responsibility for it. Stay away from these scam artists!

I went to the store on Saturday to sort out my phone. After leaving my phone there for an hour, the estimated time they said it would take to wipe it, the phone has still not been sorted as the technician had plugged it into a laptop that did not have the correct software. The service is the Tygervalley store is non existent.

We had a VERY BAD experience at iStore Tygervalley. I am very disappointed! Went to iStore to get a contract, was in for about 40mins then we went to Vodacom, they help us and we received our phones! It was a dream of mine to get an iPhone and I had a very bad first experience!

Terribly slow and chaotic with no system to help customers. Managers holding meeting at the back room while you have to wait for your contract papers for half an hour because staff may not enter to fetch paperwork while they have a meeting - it is just beyond me how poor the service is - it is just a very poorly organised store and in need of allot of customer service help.

I cannot complain about the service, as there isnt any. I was only 1 of 2 clients in the shop. I stood around for almost 10 minutes as all personnel was sitting around a table. Eventually walked out as no one was interested in helping. Was not the first time
