What a great company, had them for our end of year staff retreat. They did a lamb braai spit and it was delicious, eating leftovers while I write this, will be sure to use you again next year :)

Best spit-braai service Ive come across.An explanation for my statement.My family ran a restaurant and venue (pre-Covid) and have seen a multitude of guests use various spit-braai companies (we dont do it often enough to justify buying a spit and in-housing it), who preceded to stuff up the most essential elements of spit-braais. Ive seen overcooked meat, undercooked potatoes and grainy, unseasoned rice more often than Ive seen it done well, not to mention some truly atrocious sides (I dont know why, but people who host spit-braais are infinitely more likely to offer venue staff food than any other function, even when the cost and serving methods are the same- like even if they could see that we had pizza they still usually offered).My Aunt ended up hiring this company for a family birthday and we were immediately taken with how good all of the essentials were and how nice the sides were. Even my supremely fussy mother was impressed (the same woman who wouldnt let any plate of food out of our restaurants kitchen until she had okayed it).Given how impressed we were, we have used them a few times for other events and always been happy. I think that the only complaint I can find if I look for one is that some of the sides dont always match my preferences, but more in a that more standard recipe doesnt taste same as the one I make, where I add in six ingredients that arent traditional kind of vibe than a I dont like it vibe.Not sure if we will re-open our restaurant post Covid, but I can tell you now that if we do re-open we will try to recommend this company to customers looking for spit-braais at their events.

A delicious treat! I purchased for an office luncheon for something different and it was a tremendous hit. The meat was tender, juicy and delicious. Everybody raved about it.
