What a fantastic hidden gem of a place. This place serves the absolute best curry we have ever had and we do like our curries so can say this without a doubt. Big portions, succulent lamb and the taste is divine. Friendly service, especially Charlene who made our our visit welcoming and very accommodating. Do try the Vindaloo lamb and the Lamb Kashtoori, wow, wow, wow and the garlic naan and spinach batter leaves is delicious. Will definitely be back again.

Options are quite varied. The price isnt a value meal but for the quality it is more than reasonable. The chicken samoosa was a bit dry but that led me to dip it in the sauces they provided and that was just an amazing combo.Their curries are solid portions with a great depth of flavour.Their heat levels do depend heavily on which curry you are choosing as youd expect. All in all probably the best option for curry ive had in the city bowl in a while.

I must say, this is undoubtedly some of the best Indian food weve had in Cape Town in the past 10yrs that weve lived here. And we love Indian, so weve tried almost all of them! The samoosas should have a warning label as theyre THAT GOOD! We call them crack samoosas. The curries are also really amazing - and the wonderful thing is theyre not stingy on the meat included (Im sure many other curry lovers know the disappointment of ordering a lamb curry only to find three fatty pieces of lamb and bones hidden amongst the potatoes). The only one slight negative consideration that comes to mind is the pricing - which is slightly on the higher side; though it is undoubtedly worth it. I have to give credit where credit is due: if you know your product is damn good, and you consistently live up to the standard, then go ahead and charge a slightly higher price. Because, it is worth it!(PS - seriously, try the samoosas! Next level good.)

Went to the pop up at the german club.We ordered 1. Bhajjis (Onion, spinach) 2. Potato and coriander samosas 3. Lamb Rogan Josh 4. Paneer Butter Masala 5. Paneer Kastoori 6. Lucknow lamb Kastoori 7. Plain and Garlic Butter NaanBhajjis - Ok.Samosa – Chewy, and one could see the dough after taking a bite. Not good at allLamb Rogan Josh – ‘josh” in hindi approximately translates into ‘enthusiasm’. Least enthusiastic rogan josh I have ever had. Fairly bland and sweet after-taste. The chef tries to mask an inability to blend spices with extra oil (see picture)Paneer butter masala – This was so sweet that we had to send it back. Replaced with Paneer kastoori. In an attempt to mask the sweetness of the base gravy, the chef added extra kastoori methi (fenugreek). Anyone with experience in indian cooking would know that excessive kastoori methi adds bitterness. This is exactly what happened and every morsel left a bitter aftertaste on the palatePaneer Kastoori and Lucknow Lamb kastoori – Friends had them so can’t say much but they weren’t satisfied with the flavors either.Naan – OkOverall, the chef has a penchant for using sugar and kastoori methi in everything. These ingredients are used selectively in indian cuisine.Terrible, overpriced food. The only thing positive was the service.

We ordered from The Curry Club on Saturday evening and we were blown away. The selection of curries were amazing each with an individual flavour, what a great meal. We enjoyed every morsel.Service excellent, taste amazing, not cheap but worth every single cent as the quality was great. We both declared it worth it as it was the most delicious selection of curries we have ever eaten. We even phoned afterwards to thank them.Really would recommend if you want a truly delicious quality curry dinner.

Curries are fresh and full of flavour. Empire Veg Roti roll is my absolute favourite. The prices of the curries are a tad expensive compared to other places, but it is worth paying extra for because the food tastes great. They have lunch specials (roti rolls and smaller curries with rice and naan) which are excellent value for money.

I had the Empire Curry with cauli-rice* and it basically healed my soul. Perfectly cooked veggies in one of the most delicious sauces Ive ever had. Also: whoever is answering the telephones there is super friendly - they remembered my name from my first order and eating preferences (no dairy).* waaay better than something called cauli-rice is supposed to be.
