William and his team were such a pleasure to deal with. I was very particular about what I needed and wanted so looked around for the “right” carpenter.I wanted to deal with an Owner-managed company where the person making the items would be the same person I met and briefed.William was very honest and direct about what he could do well and the work he would prefer not to do and the time frames he could achieve it in.I’m so used to suppliers over promising and under delivering so this was for me a real bonus. He was open and realistic from the start.His quality and finishes were excellent and he has a high personal standard of work, not liking to leave the customer anything short of perfectly happy.In one instance (of my window sills) there was a small issue if them bowing slightly due to the sun and he came back immediately to fix it.Archer Carpentry did our Bedroom cupboard doors (shaker style), our window sills in Oak, a ‘picture window’ inner frame, a kitchen nook built-in corner unit (with storage drawers) and our magnificent custom Bar Unit which was the “Piece de Resistance” for us and has become the focal point of our kitchen.We will be asking him back to do some exterior pergola work soon.I would recommend William and his team to anyone....and did I mention he is Irish?So 10/10 for the accent too 😂

After struggling to obtain the services of a carpenter for a built-in bookcase using wood (rather than particleboard, melamine etc), I found William Archer!. The job was a little complicated as the bookcase had to be built underneath my staircase, but I found William to be incredibly responsive and patient, even when I changed my mind or kept adding in new aspects to the design. He and his team were highly professional, always on time, very neat and tidy, and came well-prepared - which minimised the time that they needed to be at the site.William knows his stuff and it shows - my bookcase is beautiful. I highly recommend his services!

William Archer installed build-in-wardrobes in 2x bedrooms. He did a superb job. We really appreciated the respect shown to our family by him and his assistant during the time of installation. They were always respectful and courteous and did not impact on our privacy. I would only ever use them should I require carpentry in the future.
