I have been charged R1 973 for a tiny cut in the tyre which I have no idea if it was there before or how it got cut. I only drove on tar roads. It has taken 3 visits of my time to try sort it out but now have to submit a written report. In the meantime despite asking Budget to keep the tyre as evidence, they tell me they have destroyed it, so no way to prove it was needing replacement at all. An advert for a new tyre was for about R700. So it is a total rip off, never have I had this frivolous claim in all the countries I have rented cars over the last 40 years. Be warned, go over the tyres with a magnifying glass before accepting the car.What a nasty experience with this company.

The staff is friendly and very welcoming. I booked the car online so I just had to go to collect the car. The car we rented had no issues and it was nice and clean. You just have to wait long to get you deposit back. I think it took about 5-7 days.

WORST RENTAL PLACE EVER.Be prepared to deal with awful employees who don’t care about anything. Adam is the most rudest person there. If you’re still going, avoid dealing with him.
