Had such an excellent service for my 15000km service.. I was in and out of the place within 15min. Got a lift back to work as well.. Friendly staff..was updated about every step and my car came back looking better than I left it.. Im very happy with their service so far😊

I’m confused by all the reports of excellent service as I came in on Tuesday, the person before me had recorded a raised temperature and nobody noticed or seemed to care when I mentioned it.Then they claimed to know nothing about the call from the dealership I had bought the car from (and he swore he had called them to arrange to sort something out) …And I’m still waiting to hear back from them (3 working days later and counting) whether or not they are going to help me… I’ve just bought a new Haval and have to have a 5 year relationship with them … not a good start!

GREAT service and really aware of how valuable clients time is. Was in and out in less than 3 hours while waiting in their comfortable couches for my 45000km service to be done

The service was great, car was washed when I got it back, the people were friendly and there was lots of communication all day about how far the work is on my car. The only reason that I have docked one point is because out of all the cars Ive owned over the last 20 years, Thorp Haval is the ONLY place that does not have a pick up and drop off service. It means that I need to organize a lift to drop off and pick up my car which seems inconvenient compared to other service providers Ive been with ( Honda, Ford, Toyota). Its a small but quite important point i think in terms of convenience.

I just visited your dealership with my wife because we interested in purchasing a new car, wow the service is so pathetic, the 2 sales guys are standing @the door cracking jokes while we trying to find the entrance, couldnt find a entrance so we just left. Its obvious this dealership is not interested in new sales.

Shocking after sales service and a level of ignorance by the used vehicle team.My wife bought a Fortuner just over a week ago - within 24hours we reported defects that we wanted to be fixed.They agreed to fix the defects, we took the vehicle back on Monday and they gave us a Q3 - up until here the service was good.Fast fwd to today when they brought the vehicle back after having to fix the below;• tailgate did not line up• bonnet/bumper did not line up• passenger front door had a rattle/hollow sound when it got closed• screw missing on inside cab panel on passenger side by firewall• spotlight not working(possible globe, to be inspected)Upon taking delivery of the vehicle the driver (Chris) acknowledged that the above was still an issue once I inspected the vehicle.Furthermore they scratched/dented the body work at the back by the tailgate.In closing the vehicle was dropped off back with us and the odo showed we could drive only 20km - we dropped the vehicle with fuel, they drove up and down to get the vehicle “fixed” and returned it to us with only 20km that we can still drive - who in their right mind drive a car so deep into the red/empty?This has become the norm in SA for customer service delivery, once you put pen to paper the service disappear.They forget;• we must still pay the vehicle• work must continue for my wife (reason we bought a Fortuner) a Audi Q3 cant do the same as a Fortuner• petrol at our expense (we gave the courtesy car back with petrol)The used vehicle SM Glen Kasperski does not even have the backbone to speak to us, mumbles in the background very unprofessionally.I will not recommend anybody purchasing a vehicle at this dealer. We are forced to cancel the sale or return the vehicle again, go through the same inconvenience with the hope it gets fixed second time around.

Car hunting can be very nerve wrecking and can end up giving you a headache.... This was until I walked into Thorp Plumstead. Our salesman, Shaun, was so efficient and very helpful and oh so patient with my million questions, having peace of mind. Not only him, but their finance lady, Aden too. Even after I drove off with my beautiful car, she was so helpful a week later with whatever I wanted to know. Super friendly staff all around and not making the customer feel as though they are just another sale coming thru their doors I would definitely recommend Thorp Plumstead for their excellent customer service.

So our service was yesterday. Good service but dropped as they did not phone us my husband had to phone them as we had to arrange for transport to collect our vehicle. Not our furst service with Thorp always good service. Thank you

Under these harsh circumstances of a global pandemic, I was impressed with their process of attending to clients from their vehicles 1 person at a time. Covid protocol was observed. I appreciate that I was kept in the loop with what was happening with my car. Everyone is really friendly, from front desk to the technicians. I understand why once you purchase a Haval, they say welcome to the family they make you comfortable and welcome.

I live in the Northern Subz, and driving all the way to Thorp Plumstead is a drive worthwhile. They are friendly, efficient and always go that extra length to assure there clients that they are passionate about there service delivery. Always making things easy during these tough times. I had the pleasure of being assisted by Samantha at the workshop front desk, working from home and having a service appointment is kind of hectic. I asked if i could work from there office and she gladly tried to set me up at a desk with all covid related issues protocols. This speaks volumes about the integrity and values Thorp has for its customers, and also how its staff would bend backwards to make you feel welcome. DEFINITELY a 5Star service and rating deserved.
