I recently took my Subaru Forester in for a service and I must say I am difficult and fussy when it comes to my car BUT Sam at reception is beyond incredible. She kept me in the loop and the whole experience was perfect. The service was done well and it feels like I am driving a car. Very impressed and I will definitely be servicing my car here from now on.

My Subaru Forester XT premium is a 2006 model and still going strong. The service staff and mechanics at Thorpe are simply wonderful. I love my faithful reliable car and confident that this is the best garage I have ever used in the past 44 years that I have been driving and I am a fussy guy about service!! What I really appreciate is that even though my car is old (so obviously am I at 61) but they treat me and my car like I just brought in the latest model out the showroom. 👏

Considering it is the only agency currently in the peninsula to service Subaru under warranty, at the very least my vehicle could have been vacuumed and washed whilst there for effectively 2 days.

I have had an ongoing problem with my older Subaru 2006 and used local mechanics to fix. I learned my lesson! One visit to Thorp and it was all fixed and affordable. Great service, friendly staff who kept me informed of the progress of my car the entire way through the day. I was offered cost options to make it more affordable or to stagger the repairs. The problem was fixed quickly and easily. I was thrilled.

Had my 45k service which was all good but after receiving the washed car discovered an odd old car mat in the front passenger seat plus the car body was not 100% clean. Hope they replace the odd mat, Ill have the car washed elsewhere. I dont trust their washing service.

My Subaru was fully loaded for a trip out of Cape Town, and started giving trouble out near melkbos. Luckily we could diagnose the issue ourselves, but were stuck on the side of the road. Subaru Table view sourced parts in Plumstead, and put us in touch with the parts department and the parts manager made a plan to get the part to us. Pierre drove out from Plumstead and delivered the parts to us and helped my husband fit them. Super grateful to all the staff for getting us back on the road right at the end of a crazy day. Thank you.

I was pleasantly surprised at the efficient and thorough manner in which my service turned my Subaru was handled, and, how pleasant the staff were. I shall certainly be returning my car for service when the need arises and would recommend this company to anyone looking for a reliable company to service their Subaru.

Speaking as a Subaru owner here. I feel like Thorp hasnt quite gotten their game together as a Subaru service centre yet. Had to bring my car back in after being serviced to tighten some stuff up, and my car still has a slow oil drip even after they replaced the gaskets. Some of the best customer service from their reception staff and parts department though. 1000kms after a service; breaks go floppy, ABS failure, and bearing failure which destroyed my wheel hub.

Good client service with specific mention to Heinrich Geduld who helped me. He continually followed up. I still have to test the car for a prolonged period, but I believe everything was done to the book.
