What amazing service received from George, we bought a trade-in car for my son (as he recently passed his license ), George was so helpful right through the process. We had a bit of a hiccup with the payment, and we waited very long just to have 1 go ahead answer from the owner to proceed, but was grateful it took place the same day. George then saved me the trouble of driving all the way back for the paperwork again and met me closer to home. Really appreciate it.

Hmmmm.... no feedback from a very enthusiastic salesman who promised to call me back soon when I made an enquiry on a specific (popular) model of vehicle. I was a serious buyer, but the sales guy obviously didnt take me seriously. Pity about the poor service coming from a long established and well known dealer like Steven Johnson Cars.

They have very good used cars but not a wide range to choose from.

I was happy with their service in both selling and buying. From sales to admin, even Steven himself was as approachable as his staff. Months down the line I am now so impressed by their follow up service. TK you have been a super star!

Very good service they were quick and even though we didnt end up selling our car their they were very organised and knew what they were doing. They have a variety of quality second hand cars and also do buy cars for cash. They also had a couple of motorbikes and the staff were well informed about all the vehicles.

Buying a second hand car comes with its associated risk. I’ve been badly burnt in the past through other dealers so this time I decided to do my research. I had heard good things about Steven Johnson Cars and I decided to buy a second hand 2009 BMW 120i auto. I dealt with TK who was absolutely brilliant.You’ve got 30 days to highlight any issues and they fixed them without hesitation.You’ve got the option of taking our extended warranties.We had issues post the 30 days and TK and the team stepped up and helped us out to ensure the car was in perfect working order.Very fair in the way the do business and I’ll be a customer for life given my recent experience.When you visit them be sure to ask for TK.

Terrible service or rather lack of service.I wanted to purchase a beautiful car there and negotiated a price but as soon I mentioned I wanted a dekra test for which I will pay fully, the sales lady cayla just made excuses and false promises and never heard from them again. I can only assume there is something sinister about this deal and sometimes you just got to walk away from such dealings.

Aw fur coat an nae knickers as the Scots would say.Pretending to be premium but in actual fact a bunch of fraudsters who get personal, offensive, rude, disclose the customers private matters to third parties and liars as well as soon as they are requested to do their job right.Do not ever buy here.

Only interested in you to sell. Sold me a bucket of troubles and because I live in a small town 120km from Cape Town, made me give up on sorting out the problems due to the inconvenience of travelling back and forth. Not again.

Deceptive ... i went in to see a couple of cars i noticed that they were parked across the road .. the salesmen explains that these cars are sold of the books and the sale of them are similar to that of a private sale and that the car is sold as is as stated on the ad.Started the car heard an unusual sound ..found that the exhaust had a hole in it .. the salesmen doesnt tell you if the car has any major problems he waits for you to find out .. the second car didnt go into 5th gear .. i mean who buys a car as a car dealership and is oblivious to such big problems ? The dealership is a joke they said if you want the car you must bring in cash to the dealership.Be wise in your transactions.

They knowingly sold a dud vehicle. But did come to the party, sort of, when it came to fixing the broken engine. Took 6 months to fix and still not right. R95000 wasted.

This Steven Johnson sells cars that look beautiful but still have a motor problem. I bought a Renault Megane from him in October 2013 that had a lot of motor problems. Electric windows that no longer went up or down. Rattling of the dashboard. A screw was missing here and another bolt was missing. In the first few weeks I have been more at the garage than I was driving. Steven Johnsson himself took a ride in the Renault to check it. after returning he did not find it necessary to greet us. We had to hear from the seller that he was Steven Johnson. I wanted to sell this car back in exchange for a Mercedes 260. During the test drive and in the presence of the seller I turned off the Mercedes engine and it was impossible to get it working. Others had to come in to get the car working again after a while. My enthusiasm was gone. Another car with motor problems?So people are very careful to see if you can buy a car at Steven Johnson because they look great, but they are badly motorized.He would make an appointment to have the car checked completely, but until today I am still waiting for this appointment.We then brought our car to the Renault garage and they checked the car and made it available for a lot of money.

Best car I still bought at the best price. Ill be back
