I dont even know where to begin. My experience with Renault has been one of utmost disappointment. Complete false advertising. Customer service and willingness to go the extra mile for their customers are pathetic.I purchased a brand new Kwid, had it for 4months and it needed to go into the dealership due to an error, thereafter my number plate fell off as it was put on by the dealership poorly. Few months later same problem came back which needs to be fixed again. Brake cylinder to be replaced, and the famous words from the consultant regarding me requesting a courtesy vehicle was unfortunately. I do not recommend Renault at all and do not want to be associated with this brand.I am supposed to be enjoying my car as I am still in my first year, yet I am stressed and needing to run around with no support from the brand to make things easier for me as the customer.

The blonde lady working at the front desk quoted me R9000+ for my car service. She said its because of my timing belt. I dont have a belt, I have a chain. The staff needs major training. The other worker lady that stood and smoked outside, gave me attitude, because apparently I parked on the wrong spot. I mean, wear a neon vest if you are a parking attendant and at least have space for Renaults to park. This dealership gives the brand a very bad name.

I wasted so much money on a diagnostic test, talk about an exercise in futility. A couple of days prior, my car switched off on the highway after seeing the engine light go on. Long story short, after the diagnostic test they told me I had a couple of issues, but they didnt let me see what needs to be fixed (THATS THE PURPOSE OF A DIAGNOSTIC TEST). They just said if your car gives you any issues further, bring it in for a service. I wanted to preemptively sort out any issues because I didnt want to be caught with my pants down in a desperate situation. NOW my car is not starting...DURING LOCKDOWN, when I desperately need it to be working the most. IM NEVER GOING BACK THERE AGAIN!

We purchased our 2015 Renault Sandero Stepway in 2016 from Renault Brackenfell. We were the second owners of the vehicle and purchased an extended 45 000 km maintenance plan that covers certain items for wear & tear and its service intervals priced at R 12 359.52 . From the start we had endless problems, from the airconditioning not working, service centre knocking the back door before we took ownership. Waiting for more than an hour for your vehicle when they informed you that the vehicle is ready for collection for its yearly service. We requested that they check the clutch as there was issues when driving on the hill and first person saying there was problem and then another check for second person saying that the clutch is in good working order. Only if were stuck somewhere with the vehicle they could assist. Taking the vehicle in when it did not start and having the battery checked twice to see if it was faulty, my husband had to physically see them do the check and the battery was faulty it was replaced. We informed the service centre that the hooter is faulty and the admin ladies could all confirm the error as the hooter is situated on the indicator switch and its a manufacturer fault on the vehicle, we were informed more than a week later the 14 August 2019 that Renault SA will only cover 75% and we had to pay the 25% of about R550 for a manufacturer fault. I queried on my cellphone for more than an hour to find answers speaking to more than 10 people, they found a loop whole because we brought the vehicle in for it second service 4 months late hence their stance on the matter & note we didnt even get a service book with the vehicle from the previous owner. I found this to be absolutely ridiculous as the brakes was recently replaced on our last service in June 2019 and all our services was covered. We just had enough of Renault, we love our vehicle but to feel unsafe in your vehicle and we have a 5 year and 1 year driving with me daily. We decided that we just going to cut our losses sell the vehicle and purchase another vehicle through a reputable dealer even if it costs us more.
