Dont buy a car from this dealer. I was sold a car that had been in a bad rear ended accident and when I asked Mark if it had been in any accidents he said absolutely not!!!!!Took it in for a quote to sell and was shown the misaligned boot, with a wider gap on one side of the hatchback than the other, bad welding job on inside and other clear damages of a rear ended car which was repaired badly. I drove car for one year completely accident free and am willing to show you my entire insurance history for the time owning the car.When I received the car I opened the glove compartment to remove the service book (which the dealer had already removed to do a service) and entire compartment fell on floor!! The dealer had literally placed it back in so that from the outside it looked fine until you opened it. Went to adjust the side mirror on the passenger side and the entire cover came off in my hand (same side as the glove compartment). Google reviews are here to place your reviews and that is exactly what I have done. I have absolutely nothing to gain from posting this.so why on earth would I make something like this up. All facts, be warned!!Hi Mark - no lambasting at all. These are all facts and am afraid that you knew about this as it would be impossible for someone in your position to not have seen these signs. None-the-less you sold it to me in this condition. There was nothing wrong with the engine......it was rear ended I was happy with the car as it drove well. I have since bought another car and taken this one in to get a price on it. All the flaws which you as professional USED CAR SALESMAN are well aware of, were then pointed out to me. I have been the only person driving this car and it was not used that much as I took public transport for a lot of the year so it was safely parked. I am a lay person and as a woman did not know where to look for the tell tale signs.....my ex-husband purchased it for me and test drove the vehicle too, he did not inspect it as he too trusted you, he was most certainly not in Johannesburg because it would have been a long way to come and test drive a car. You must be thinking of another couple you had issues with, which does not surprise me!!!If I had done this to the car I would not have bothered to place this on your review......what would that achieve? I am very unhappy as I have had to take a R10,000 knock on the price of vehicle through your misrepresentation. I paid you well for this car.....you would not even negotiate the R105 000 on a bottom of the range Ford Figo which was already almost 5 years old.You are most certainly KNEW ABOUT THESE damages and unfortunately it is salesman like yourself that give the industry such a bad name!And stop with the lies about speaking to the people I tried to trade the car in with.........I have had absolutely no issues with them at all and you have absolutely no idea who I dealt with or where I went. I have accepted what they have told me and pointed out to me and then they would not purchase the car because they do not deal in cars that have been in accidents (unlike yourself), they called in independent dealers (like yourself) that are willing to purchase these vehicles. I (and no partner as you put it), have had no problems or animosity with them at all. You are trying to attack my character to make yourself look better. That is not how this works.Once again I state that this is all facts and unfortunately through the Google Review site....you have been exposed! I hope that others in the same position get onto this site and do the same. In the past you could easily get away with this and not be exposed, but times have changed. Good luck......karma!!!!
