I purchased my vehicle new in 2018 and have always received excellent service from the friendly and helpful staff of this dealership. Recently, I encountered some warranty issues with the vehicle and every one of them was dealt with to my in a professional manner. Even the lady who sold me the vehicle, Amanda took interest in my issues and swiftly escorted me to Juan Goldie the Service Manager. He inspected the vehicle without hesitation, took photographs of the vehicle and immediately logged warranty claims. After a couple of weeks the new parts arrived from the factory and were duly fitted to my satisfaction. Well done McCarthy Toyota Table View! Keep up the excellent service and I will continue to bring back my vehicle for servicing and maintenance.

On the day my vehicle was booked in, I only received feedback from the dealership at +- 3pm when I physically went to their premises. I also called at +- 12H30 earlier the day and I was told that they were waiting on feedback from the technician.When I was shown the quote, I did not agree with what was proposed in terms of resolving an issue I asked them to look at.We agreed that they would order the spares on the other 2 items but they had not received authorisation from Standard bank as of yet, so I had to leave my vehicle there overnight.On the next day they obtained the authority and I was able to collect my vehicle but I would need to wait on the spares to arrive.I came later the day to collect my vehicle but when i wanted to drive it away, there was a misfire on the vehicle which was never there before! I went back inside and advised the service department, who then in turn called the technician to look at the problem. I waited in the reception area and was later told by Graeme that the technician had picked up that the misfire was due to the fact that coil pack number 3 had packed up...........???I said to Graeme immediately that I was not happy with the overall service and he went on to speak to the dealer principle, who then later tried to explain to me that this coil pack could of broken at anytime and they would never know.I said to him that the vehicle never had an issue before (this after my vehicle had gone for various services at another company), I then come to a Toyota Dealership and before anything is actually done on the vehicle, I have to take it back in a worse condition than before and just ACCEPT IT?He offered to waiver the labor on this replacement part and said that is all he could do.The day I got my vehicle back (DAY 5), I collected the vehicle and had noticed that no labor was removed and i just thought i was not going to get into the entire discussion again!No concession for delayed service and no apology demonstrated in their actions!Disappointing Service - I will never use them again

We visited this branch and spoke with Dumisani who was professional, very knowledgable and helpful. We felt our needs were respected and any questions answered clearly. COVID-19 precautions were enforced properly and all staff were seen to be following safe practices in the showroom and when we test drove a car.This was not the closest Toyota garage to our house but it was worth the extra effort.

Excellent service in general. We have been taking our 1996 Corolla in for its regular service for years now and the standards have always been top notch. Now they have also introduced Covid protocols on arrival and social distanced seating in the waiting area which is great to see. If you dont want to wait for your car, there is also a courtesy shuttle service. Highly recommend.

It was good till when I sent car to be fitted brakes and the following day I had a punture and realized that my jack was missing. My mistake I over trusted them that I didnt check everything when I fetch my car. The only people that had acces to my car was only me and them. The worse part their management didnt show much of a concern acting like they hired robots who wont steal or just because they have cameras no theft can take place. Yet my jack was gone after my car was by their dealer. They sound caring in words but practically I didnt see that.

My car felt better before the service. It now makes a weird sound when braking. Quite a few things were added onto my bill that were not necessary, including re-gassing the aircon (which works perfectly) and other superfluous costs totally R16,000.00. Needless to say I declined most and asked what I absolutely needed - then bill was around R4,000.00. Not impressed and will not take my car here again.

Took 25 minutes to be signed in at reception, vague directions to the back of some unmarked building for window tint repair. The manager that side drives me back, very apologetic. Sign in again at reception, left to figure out whats going on, end up sitting by myself without a single staff member asking g why I am there for 30 minutes. Window was fixed properly, just dont feel like they actually want you there

I am shocked at how poor the service and after-sales services quality was. What shocked me even more was a noreply email I received from Toyota SA thanking me for responding to a post services survey positively.... I did not respond favorably at all, so can only assume that the dealership volunteered my experience on their own. Furthermore I was told that they could not change my light bulb because they had no stock (3 weeks Ive waited now), plus Id have to book my car in because they needed to remove my bumper to get to the headlight and replace the bulb. Total BS, I managed to find an unscrew the bulb in 5 seconds. I now understand why my family told me they refused to go to Toyota in Tableview. Absolute BS!

Got very decent service on purchasing a vehicle from this dealership - 5 stars.Unfortunately Bidvest/McCarthy spam you with offers that you dont want afterwards, some of which use unethical sales tactics.An example is their offering of premium roadside assistance. The script of the call is crafted to intentionally sound like you get standard roadside assistance for free, but you are asked for billing details even when you decline the premium assistance. These dodgy tactics take you nowhere, McCarthy - you might make a few people unwittingly sign up for things they didnt want, but youve lost my trust as a customer despite the efforts of the team on the ground - I will really think twice before purchasing anything from any dealer related to you as a result.

After my last disastrous visit a lot has happened... New and more friendly staff, efficient and helpful...a different system to check in and out..the people who repair chipped windscreens are also gone; it was not Toyota anyways...Due to a power outage the car had to stay a bit longer but all in all a way better experience... Will try it again..

These guys LIED to my wife and told her she needed new brakes! I’m an ASE certified auto & diesel mechanic myself. We just had the brakes done relatively recently, but I went ahead and pulled the wheels anyway, just to check. ALL pads and shoes are in wonderful condition! The drum brakes needed a slight screw adjustment, which takes about two minutes! The guy quoted my wife should lose his job! He is stealing from people! I guess he thought a women wouldn’t be switched on enough to question him. She said he was very patronizing.

Friendly and helpful service from the staff. It was my first visit and I was really impressed. FIRST REVIEWThree stars. Service was OK. Didnt order mats as per booking form weeks prior.UPDATE, down to one star: 2018/12/12 - yesterday my FJ Cruiser sprung a serious fuel leak. I got under the vehicle and saw the pipe between the main tank and aux tank (Front Runner) was leaking .It was 4:15pm - and we needed the vehicle tomorrow for a trip. I called the branch as they are just around the corner from me - they refused to help because I have a Front Runner tank, even though I said it was just the 8mm fuel hose between the two tanks that was leaking. They justified it by saying they dont stock the part, and I must take it back to the fitment center. (it was done over a year ago)I drove to Midas, spent R60 on 8mm fuel hose - all fixed in under 30min.Your lack of service cost you my future business - and I was in the process of test driving vehicles, including from your branch

Friendly but poor service delivery experienced may 2018.Service was confirmed prior to appointment to be 3 hours maximum with service manager Prenulla. Prunella ensured that my Bakkie would be ready after 3 hours as I had an important meeting thereafter.After 5 hours the car was finally handed over but was incomplete and filthy inside and out.Services consultant said he was embarrassed and I advised him to report to sales manager prunella.Service consultant did not report it.I was not compensated for my extra two hours wait and missing the business meeting nor was an adequate explanation provided.It is a pity as it used to be a great experience visiting there.I have noticed a decline in service levels over the past few years at Toyota service centres and does not warrant the high pricing.Very disappointing indeed! I will no longer be using dealship service centres.
