We received very good advice on hockey sticks. There is also an area where you can hit practice shots to get the feel of the hockey stick. There area with tent equipment has a good variety and there fishing gear is some of the best.

Were there on a Sunday. Not a lot of people. Shop is clean and a good variety. Although there was enough staff to assist they could not answer questions on products. So do your homework on what you want before you go shopping.

Please do not waste your time going to any other sporting goods store. You will find what you are looking for here, at the best price. They have the best selection in the area and they boast the widest variety, in my experience. On top of this, they also have the best service. In my case, being a tennis fan, having a wide variety of pro-tour tennis rackets in a physical store is almost non-existent in SA, but not here. Every racket you need is sold here. From professional to amateur. You can also string your racket here. I am very impressed with their investment in tennis gear and for every other sport for that matter. They have an extensive rugby, hockey, cricket and fishing selection as well. This includes a big selection on running shoes and other sport specific shoes. They also have a great selection on general training apparel and camping gear.

I was at the shop about 3 weeks ago on a weekday afternoon. Apart from me there must have been maximum 2 other clients in store. I went up to the fishing section and looked around through the different sections, what must have been for 10 to 15 minutes. I was the only person in that section and not once did someone come up to me and asked if they could assist; there were 3 guys too interested in a video on one of their phones. I must have been in the isles less than 5 meters away from them but I’m sure they didn’t even notice.Kloppers have such a great selection but for a novice wanting to get into fishing it can be very overwhelming. I left feeling very disappointed and find it hard to motivate a second return visit.

You wont necessarily get personal treatment here, sometimes you do. Wide range of sporting goods and clothing. Not the cheapest outing. Look out forcthe sale racks 10m in on the right. You will find branded bargain clothing here.

Pathetic service.Ive been shopping for new tennis rackets and a friend mentioned Kloppers had demos. The first person who helped me was very friendly and helpful. So helpful I thought Id leave the R1500 deposit with them and try 2 or 3 rackets (the guy told me once I buy, the deposit will be deducted front the total price. Cool).The second time I came in, I received no assistance. The staff were having a laugh among themselves. I politely interrupted and asked if I can try another racket and off I went to the checkout counter.Today I go back and Im once again ignored. I ask the guy can I take out a racket, he looks like he could care less and walks off to help another customer. Couple mins later, another guy comes to me and says management is reluctant to give me another racket because I damaged the last one (Not true. A scratch or two maybe, but damage...come on). He also tells me demo rackets are meant to be hit for ten minutes for feel; they are not meant to be played with (NO ONE told me this EVER). If you give the racket out for two days, why expect someone to hit ten minutes with it? I would not have demoed that rackets if that were the case. If Im paying R3000 (sometimes 4000) per racket I want to actually play with it. I played one set with each racket by the way. He made it seem like I was playing a week long tournament.Even if that is your policy, you couldve told me that instead of telling me outright I can no longer demo anymore rackets. Also, the condescending manner in which I was spoken to is unacceptable. The guy told me its like demoing a car (What?!)... He made it seem like I was smashing the rackets like Kyrgios and bringing them back.All in all quite an embarrassing experience. I get that youre trying to resell the demo rackets, but make it clear to your customers that they should only hit ten minutes with the racket. Or dont do demos at all. Its the first time in all my tennis years Ive heard demo rackets should only be hit with for ten minutes.The 1 star is for the first guy who helped me. Thanks to that guy.
