Just left and I only have SUPER WONDERFUL things to say.We stayed the weekend and celebrated me wifes 40th birthday at the restaurant. The service was awesome. Guy parked in the basement and parked up against my car door... I couldnt get into my car... Management said he was In a meeting and he was in a rush... That is unprofessional... I ordered something and they brought the bill immediately without asking... Paid the bill and never saw them again as I wanted to order something else.... Only attended to the white people... Was a funny thing to see... And unbelievable at the same time

What an amazing experience to be a guest at the Vineyard. As a person who users a wheelchair it was refreshing to see the care that the staff showed in making sure that my Mom and I were well taken care of. I would highly recommend the Vineyard hotel! A beautiful hotel and amazing staff and food! The Monday night pasta special is a winner!

Lush grounds perfect for a holiday or family style resort. Safe suburban gem near the Table mountain. We stayed in their apartment style accommodation which provided more space than we needed. Service at the main breakfast restaurant is a little challenged for efficiency. Make sure to meet the Front Office Manager Trust and his crew.. waaay awesome👌

I was dissapointed with the experience not the menu. The venue they seated us in was loud and impersonal. It did not feel like we were out having a high tea, it could just as well been out for a quick snack. I was hoping for a stylish, delicate and special experience. It was cold and impersonal.

There is something so ethereal about The Vineyard. With every visit, it feels as though it is the first time. One of the prides of the Southern Suburbs.

One of the best meals I have had, I love the varied but concise menu. The service is impeccable but not pretentious.

Took sometime to get service in the lounge so moved to the restaurant. Ordered sushi with Xhosa names... Lol was really good. Then had some steak and dessert. The food was delicious as well. Service quicker with live music playing in the background. Have also been there for lunch in the courtyard and had some yummy sandwiches. Its a very relaxed scene... Good for catching up with friends.

Phenomenal with the best service. The cleanliness was outstanding. I would go back in a heartbeat. A hidden gem forsure that was beyond my expectations.

We visited the Coffee Shop for breakfast. Fortunately we got there early, just after 9. The hotel is beautiful inside and we found a lovely place to sit. Chairs had a high back with arm rests and were most comfortable.Our waitress was the most wonderful lady. She was the ONE AND ONLY in the coffee shop serving by now a FULL area. We understood and carried on chatting. Other folk were not so polite. Our food came, we ordered poached eggs on ciabatta. A steak knife could not even cut the bread so I ditched the it. My hands were tired and I had sore fingers from pressing the knife so hard. I think it best not to toast it.So if you are looking for a quick ordered breakfast, because you are super hungry, I suggest going elsewhere.The staff are friendly, polite and so helpful. The lady who takes your temp and welcomes you is warm and friendly.We will go back, but not when we are hungry.

It was nice except for the fact that you have to be 25 to use the gym it should be 23 since that is a teenager I can’t find any gym child friendly and it would be appreciated if you could change that.

Ate at the restaurant. There was a misprint on the menu. I ordered the chocolate torte dessert and instead of vanilla, granadilla ice cream, base and sauce was used. False advertisement. Would never have ordered the desert if I had known. Nothing done to amend.

Sitting on the terrace of the Vineyard Hotel is one of lifes great pleasures! It is one of my favourite place to meet. Great menu and wine list at affordable prices. The view and setting are inspirational.

They have an incredible pasta special on Mondays - R99 for a full sized meal of your choice and a glass of wine or Grapetizer. I had the lamb lasagne and it was incredible.

Posh is probably a mild way to judge this historical hotel. Great service, exelent food, cleanliness and safety is beyond Covid, anyone feel safe, stunning trees and the park emanates pure oxygen. The deluxe room was great and comfortable, just to repeat super clean. Great choices of food on the menu and the wine list complement the gourmet. Quietness and relax is magic. Myself and wife weve loved it.

Went for dinner and drinks, and had the best experience with the staff. Food presentation was amazing and the quality is 10/10. Our waitress was amazing and so helpful. The outside garden walk is peaceful and perfect for photos.

They didnt allow us to take pictures around the hotel and shower water is cold and the omelette need some improvement. Either than that, the hotel is beautiful.

The Vineyard is always the perfect setting for breakfast, brunch, lunch, afternoon tea, early dinner or dinner. Surrounded by nature outside and beautiful views of the mountain. One can sit outside, inside in one of the lounges or in the restaurant. There is also a coffee shop that serves cake. Sanitizing and temperature checks as well as sign in required at entrance.

Mothers day afternoon tea was great, the sweets and savoury snacks were divine. I even enjoyed the earl grey pot of tea, I dont usually drink tea. Naeema was great, she attended to all our needs. She is a great asset to your business. She highlighted the specials thats on during the week, which was great so will definitely be back . All round a pleasant experience.

Being a regular visitor for many years, at the Garden Lounge restaurant, at the Vineyard I took my 87 year old mom for tea/scones last Sunday. After having a bit of an issue with one of their staff members, the previous week, Mike the manager took over the complaint and handled it in such a diplomatic way. He made sure that we had the best service ever! Many thanks to Mike. Because of the weather last week, we were seated at the Circle Restaurant which was amazing. My mom was so chaffed with the excellent service too as I requested a wheel chair for her upon our arrival which was there! Dean the manager and our waiter, JT were both amazing. What a memorable afternoon spent there. We will definitely return as we always do!

Cold feeling when j walked in to collect my guests. Lady with the grey hair at the desk where you enter was rude & has a major attitude. She should not be the front figure for your hotel with a attitude like that. Was very disappointing to see.The last that helped me behind the reception desk was lovely & friendly.

My last time at the Vineyard Hotel is years back, so it was good to be back over an extended weekend with our three kids. We booked one of the apartments with two bedrooms which are in the garden area of the hotel and which even provide for a kitchenette and a coffee machine. There are no cooking facilities except for a microwave, but one doesn’t come to the Vineyard for cooking, right?The hotel is nice as ever. I especially enjoyed the lush green garden, the views of Table Mountain, overly friendly staff, a good cup of coffee as a start into the day, a beautiful breakfast, a swim in the stunning outdoor pool, searching with the kids for tortoises in the garden, and of course the simply stunning wall tiles by the late and great Esias Bosch.Although the standard rooms are not necessarily suited if you stay with children, the apartments definitely are. The staff is also extremely child-friendly - each child got a lovely book as welcome present which was just a lovely gesture.To sum it up: Sooner or later, we will back. Highly, highly recommended.

An outstanding property and the hotel is itself is beautiful. The interior is furnished with a perfect blend of modernism while also holding onto priceless antiques which line the walls. The hotel has good covid protocols which makes one feel more comfortable. The hotel unfortunately loses a star because the experience with staff was too inconsistent. Some staff, front door, reception, cleaners and some restaurant staff were brilliant. While a fair number of other staff, restaurant included, were not hospitable at all.The restaurant is has the most beautiful fittings and gives you a very unique feel.The food is prepared with fresh ingredients and is presented with finesse. However the restaurant menu is far too limited in its offering, and is missing certain essentials which should be on any hotel food menu.

Nice spa, but definitely less than what I expected in terms of service... the food at the hotel, can also be a bit better...

Great location with a stunning garden. We searched for the tortoises but sadly we could not find them. For a big slow animal they really are sneaky :)

This is one of my favourite places to frequent, but this evening sadly not. Walked in the bar/lounge area , not acknowledged, greeted by any staff, I sat down & 20mins later not one waiter had come to me. Other people came in after me treated quite the opposite, people around me served. Needless to say, I wont be going back.

The vineyard in Newlands Constancia Cape Town is since almost more than 30 years a first-class hotel compared to the standard five stars in the rest of the world named Marriot Hyatt Hiltons holiday in Crown Plaza us are in the continentals.Know one of these competitors are able to deliver the charm and strong service like this family run business over decades.I for myself I shift about 3000 nights in hotels in every dimension rating country or continents it is absolutely my number one but everything is perfect

Arrival and welcoming is extremely friendly and accommodating. The staff is very helpful and the hotel is happy to adapt to almost any request or situation. The views and rooms are beautiful and the setting is truly relaxing and comforting. They take great precautions for health and safety and the room service is friendly though a bit slow at times. The food is the only thing that was lacking. I would go as far as to say some items were quite flavourless and the fries were not fresh (bordering on stale) even once out of the 3 times I ordered them. I was also very disappointed in the lack of vegan options made clear on the food menu. That being said I still hope to return again soon for another relaxing and quiet stay.

The new covid serving method took getting used to but after 5 minutes, we were immediately taken back to the quality of service and exquisite food that is known of the Vineyard. Relaxed scenery.

Love staying here, the whole experience is always amazing. The staff is friendly and always willing to assist you.Love waking up to the sun shining over the mountains. The Vineyard is one of my favourites hotels for lunch. The opulent gardens and patio area as well as the inside seated areas have a sense of days gone by which appeals to my sensibilities. Although the service needs to be improved I still go back as the food is generally good and the feeling I get, part excitement, part extravagance, more than makes up for the sometimes slow pace of service. The huge, ancient resident tortoise can be seen positively striding (who said tortoises are slow) through the gardens with a bunch of flowers or grass in his mouth.

The most relaxing venue with the most beautiful environment and professional staff. The Covid protocols are thorough. One feels most comfortable and satisfied.
