Amazing spot always clean. Love the fact that there are a temp check and sanitizers at the entrance.

All the shops in one spot. Food court, Woolworth food, clicks, bargain books and a Super Spar. Clean easy to get to park. Under ground parking and it has stunning views.

Probably one of the best spars but its floor is dirty and slippery, by the dairy fridges, I can smell the fridges hasnt been cleaned correctly if at all.I am all for the covid protocols but if people are struggling with the thermometer please assist. Rather use the hand held. Also saw how they allowed a guy in there with 38 degrees on my way out. 😳Staff on the other hand is friendly and cheerful well, the staff that I encountered they were helpful and knew their merchandise which isnt always like any other store so well done on staff training on the floor and by the till. 👌🏼

Carries a different range to my local Spar in Vredehoek but definitely a flag shop. Only real complaint is that there are only pay toilets on site and not everyone has change. Surely genuine shoppers could get a reusable token.

Good store. Nice variety of imported goods. A little shy on personal items such as toiletries and over the counter medication, but otherwise good. Service is good and does well with upholding Covid-19 rules and regulations. Always feel safe. Unrelated to service and products, but well done to making the store always feel incredibly festive over the Holiday season. Especially this year (2020). Every one needed a little extra Holiday cheer and your store really came through. I noticed other stores and shopping centers simply did the bare minimum or tried to be so conservative and politically correct that the spirit and joy of the Holidays were just lost. Well done!

Was here over the weekend.. A variety of grocery items a available, which I do like.. Some items not readily available at other or most stores. One cannot account for customers walking in and blatantly breaking boundaries set out due to Covid-19.. However the cashier was an absolute breath of fresh air.. Got what I needed from this store.

It’s not often I will find myself buying stuff from Spar, I usually only buy my weekly groceries from Woolworths but lately I’ve started supporting my local Spar at The Paddocks Shopping Centre because I was amazed at the value and the quality of the products and food. But this evening I did some shopping and went on to pay for my items at the express till because I wanted to buy a pack of cigarettes as well. My assumption was that I might of had 10 items, turned out I had 13 items the cashier refused to assist me and said I must move to another cashier. Over 3 F’ing items! I left the stuff right there and just walked out. For this very reason I will never buy something from this store again, that I can assure you!

I dont want to give a bad review, but, it was my first time here and i did notice that their prices were a little more than the woollies for veg. A bit dissappointing as woolies quality is of a higher standard (debatable yes, but this is MY opinion). N.B. This is not all items, just common ones and not specialty items.

The service is top drawer. Not just a super Spar by brand but the staff are very helpful and go out of their way to assist

This Spar has a problem with their cold chain. Ive had food poisoning from fish, regularly have dairy go bad before even opening and have seen the meat fridges at temperatures that are too high. Management please fix these problems.

They advertise a certain price for a certain product. Then when you get to the counter, they want to charge you more. When you query it, they tell you the advertised price is reserved for loyalty card members only. If that is your way of dealing with customers, then count me out. I left the beers on the counter, and walked straight out, never to return again. Dont BS me with this dodgy tricks. I will not be supporting you any more. Thank you. No, I retract that Thank you. Spar has the best selection of fresh meats and you can ask for special cuts too. Their deli is well run, clean and js great for the person in a rush or for the family at home. Either way you get a good deal. Fresh bread is baked regularly and cakes too. The selection of fresh produce is well presented and plentiful. It is indeed a wonderful and pleasant shopping experience.

The Jewish holiday of passover ended Thursday, a time when no bread can be eaten for the 8 days. Spar then decides to only bake a limited amount of Kitka breads on Friday after which sold out early morning. Really!!!! Friday night shabbat and no kitkas??

Royal Ascot Superspar at Paddocs is always the best in Cape Town! Theyve got almost everything. Service is awesome and theres a lot of cash registers so that you dont have to wait in a queue. You also wont find more or better daily cooked food anywhere else.

There is a good fresh fruit and veg section, although it San sometimes be a bit pricey. look out for items on special though - the prices fluctuate quite a bit.there is a sushi counter and hot foods counter. the bakery also has some great items.you can order platters (excellent for parties) and there are quote a few options to select from.the butchery has a few chicken kebab options.the rest of the place is a medium-sized supermarket with the usual things.the staff are super friendly.

This SPAR has the best deli and got chips. Everything there looks clean and fresh. Great selection of Jewish products too. Look forwarding to going there. Wish all other Spars were this good!!

Love the bakery section. We will drive there from Table View just for the fresh bread rolls. Their made-on-premises subs and burgers are excellent value for money. Seperate imported items isle. Easy layout but I would prefer better marked isles. Clean floors. Friendly staff.

I cannot enthuse enough about my shopping experience here. The staff are friendly, beautifully groomed, neat and tidy. The store was immaculately clean. The floors were sparkling. The isles are wide and spacious and well lit. It was cool and airy (air conditioning just right!) The shelves are well stocked and perfectly packed. The prices are clearly displayed. They have a huge variety of products. Too many to mention. There is a wide selection of take away food that is VERY well priced, freshly made and appetising. Specialty breads, cakes, pastries, rusks, tarts - a dieters nightmare, there is such a variety! However, there is an equal amount of more healthy products to choose from - fresh fruit, (and it IS firm and fresh), salad ingredients, vegetables, nuts and dried fruit. There is also a biltong and Sushi bar. Stationery sufficient to stock up on ( Gift bags as well and a huge variety of sweets and chocolates to put in the gift bag for that last minute gift). Fresh flowers. Such a treat shopping here - cant wait to go back!

Awesome Spar

Store was great. A bit f a downer that you need to pay R2 to get to use a dirty toilet. Even more of a let down if you dont have a R2 coin on your person and you urgently need to use the toilet. Since when is using a toilet a privilege for those who can afford it?

Spar has done really well theyve adjusted and made there stores incredible. The look and feel and the customer service. Also a few of there products are good quality when it comes to there meat and fruit.

Besides the scary increase in robberies since last year June i have seen nothing but deterioration at the Paddocks. Went to get a few things yesterday and spar staff all sitting outside the entrance smoking cigarettes, litter everywhere in the bushes and cigarette butts all over the floor - I will not be going back.

Very sad to have had an incident here with arrogant, unhelpful and disrespectful staff. Used to be a an awesome shopping experience, quality product, conveniently accessible, great place for monthly shopping, but careful to expect staff to always be friendly and helpful here. For the most part, itll be friendly and good service, but I have to remove stars, because after having to deal with 3 staff members unwilling to help at an unmanned kiosk during a busy period, Ill never put foot inside this Spar again unless I can absolutely not avoid it. They wont just not be helpful. Theyll be rude and make your feel like you dont belong. The level of disrespect towards customers from some of staff is unacceptable. Im convinced you wont easily find this treatment at Woolies, a few shops down. A clear indication of poorly managed staff, unfortunately. Tellers are usually friendly, esp when you shop here often. But youll be making a mistake if you get too comfortable.

This is my all-time favourite Spar. The fruit and veg is always fresh and they have a great bakery with plenty variety to meet all tastes. The store is always clean and the staff are friendly. Love it.

Generally a great selection of things, never really had a problem. If anything the express till only ever has one person running it. Its generally faster to go to a normal till if youre not 1st or second in line.

It has a good variety of goods and a surprising range of services. They have a fast food or ready-made food counter and a place to get take-away sushi. The selection of fruit and vegetables are sometimes not that good and the quality (and value for money) is occasionally questionable. However, the shop is usually clean and well patronised. It can get very busy on a Friday evening and at the end of the month.

Great reliant bakery. Very food orientated and have a wide variety of dishes and snacks . Otherwise everything youd expect from a good supermarket.

This Superspar has a variety of cultures they cater for. They also have good quality fruits and vegetables. The prices are ok but they always have some specials running and those prices are very good.

Best Spar I have been to. Always have good stock levels, great meat and deli selections. Who needs pick n pay when this Spar is around

Brenton is friendly, professional and accommodating. The room was neat and clean. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely have Colours of Cape Town on our Speed Dial for accommodation in Milnerton!! Thanks to all who made our stay enjoyable!

This is definitely one of the best SuperSpar stores in Cape Town. My wife loves the large variety on offer at the hot foods counter and I enjoy browsing the bakery section. I found the speciality breads a bit pricey....but overall a great shopping experience which scores a good 4/5 .

Placed an order at the bakery as I had a few guests coming over. When I arrived to collect my order, the bakery mixed up the orders and mine wasnt made. After bringing this to the managers attention he immediately apologised and went out of his way to accommodate me. This guy understands customer service and how to go the extra mile. Pretty decent. But their shelving layout leaves a LOT to be desired. Feels like stuff is all over the place in that it is very disorganised.

Good place to get some basic daily stuffs.. Vegetables are fresh and other grocery items are available at cheap rates..

This Spar is disgusting! Dont buy any fresh produce because its nowhere near fresh.This Spar is outdated and so is their produce.It would be lovely to buy lettuce or avocados that are fresh. Just because the sell-by date is in range doesnt mean the produce is still fresh!The staff is generally rude and couldnt give a continental about you.Ive contacted management numerous times to complain, but they never respond.
