Spar Paradys Park is my go to store but today for the first time since I have been shopping there, which is from the time the store first opened, I had to deal with a cashier who was arrogant and who insisted on packing the non perishables, including Albex bleach into my cooler bag and the perishables into a plastic carrier bag. I had to unpack everything and re package the way it should be packed. It left such a damper on my shopping experience because I love shopping at this Spar.

Very well managed, always clean and all staff are very friendly and helpful. Looking forward to the new Spar after the upgrades.

In my opinion the poorest Spar in this and surrounding area. Selection of hot food very small. Struggle to get assistance to weigh fruit & veg.

The store was not very clean and the shelves not fully stocked. It was a Friday at month end so probably understandable, although hygiene during these times are important. The staff however were friendly and helpful and very efficient, which more than made up.

We go there almost everyday , really easy access and good prices , would recommend

Butchery is pathetic. The meat is always discoloring while on the shelves. Most meat was previously frozen. This place needs a revamp, it cannot be compared to any other Spars around like Vredekloof, Protea Heights or Old Oak. Nice people though.

Spar Brackenfell is my favorate store. They are friendly and have great customer service. Always have the freshest products in their store.

Been coming here for over a decade, its one of the best Spars around. Amy, the manager, is a very welcoming woman that adds a small town warmth to it.

Why is these shops all closing down?

Parking is an issue most days. But the Spar is awesome. Good meat selection. Can find most anything here.

Our son loves this spar because they have small trolleys for the kids so he does his own shopping. Aside from that, they generally have the basic grocery items and I enjoy that its big enough for all you need but small enough to feel comfortable shopping and not have to search for things

I like the prices on their mince, chicken and milk sachets - very affordable and staff is friendly, especially the manageres.

Overpriced. Meat section needs to be improved. I dont buy meat products there. Has 3 ATMs. Fruit section well stocked. Great liquor store next door

Its not often you get greeted with such a friendly cheerful disposition, today Onella really made my quick shopping experience at this Spar such a pleasant one, you can see the staff here are happy, professional and all need a huge pat on the back! If only all supermarket chains had this caliber of staff!

A smaller instance of one of the largest grocery chains in South Africa, this shop is situated in a convenient location, though caters more for the local residents and is not quite as modern and well kept as some of its bigger siblings in the surrounding neighbourhoods. A liquor store can be found right next door, along with quite a few other speciality stores.

Aaaah my fav Spar ever besides the fact the blame me for steeling and i proved to them on their own cctv that they wrong. Ps all solved no issues there since. I love the shop everyone is so friendly and down to earth and extremly helpfull i love this shop.

Love the friendliness of Stiaan and Awie and staff. Always go out of their way to greet and chat and CARE about their clients. Always a warm experience. A classic example of how the smaller things in life matter. Especially these days where frontline people seem inferiorly trained, lazy, unfriendly and just plain bored with their jobs..its refreshing to go to a place where you experience the opposite ..
