I was always a fan of the famous Dawood Nippy Wors. Whether it was for a braai or making pot of sausage smoor and mash.I havent been to Dawood since before covid started and was excited at the prospect of having some of the famous sausage for supper that evening. I was however terribly disappointed at taste of the sausage. I was like I had used viennas instead. Why change a winning formula Dawoods?

Greetings to all my fellow muslim brothers and sisters during this holy month of Ramadaan... I wish to share with you a very sad and disappointing experience at Dawood Muslim butchery I had today... I requested A grade lamb for purchase, only to notice that I had been sold C grade lamb when I got home...I returned to Dawood butchery and asked staff to if I could speak with the manager... the manager was explicitly rude and disrespectful... verbally abusive and hostile toward me... I walked out the butchery feeling dehumanised...Sir, during this holy month and on the last day, you cannot even show kindness to a fellow human being... may God repay you!!...fellow brothers and sisters - I urge you to boycott the Dawood butchery in Hanover Park - Sir (Mr manager), you hide behind a form of godliness but your heart is far from God Almighty... what happened to considering others better than yourself (which is what true humility is)... Sir (Mr manager)... you have just ceased your own fast!!... just before Eid!!... what kind of character does your heart have, if any?... you are practice hypocrisy and not true Islam!!... shame on you!!

Im very upset .we bought nippi sausage last Saturday; decided to make it today for iftaar. And then it was not the nippi we asked for..it was some cheap thick sausage; smelt horrible and tasted disgusting. We actually paid for R153 for a few pieces. Absolutely disgusting.

They also stock all the spices and sauces, braai accessories and lots more.Whatever you forgot to buy at your local supermarket, you wil also find there. Their seeded burger rolls, always fresh, is also a fast seller. I even bought a bag of potatoes and a vs of onions thus mirning, saving me a trip to the farm stall
