On Saturday I went to the mtn store to do a sim swap ,Consultant asked if it was prepaid or contract told him it was prepaid ,consultant told me that I need to get a affidavit but I told him that I still have my old sim card but its just to big to fit in my new phone and it needs to be cut ,consultant then told me that I still need a affidavit, I went to the police station got a affidavit and went to another mtn store closer to me and explained to them my situation they never asked me for the affidavitIt seems to me that the consultant was lazy as when I entered the store he was the only consultant and was busy on his laptop with no customers

Probably the worst service Ive received anywhere. Kirsty has made one mess up after the other with my contract upgrade. I eventually got my phone at the beginning of March. I went back 21 July to query my bill as I was being billed way too little to be told that my contract was not validated. What this means is that according to MTN records, I only upgraded yesterday. This will affect me when I have to upgrade again!!! The worst part was the manager just say there, not interested.

The most fastest and most efficient service I have ever received from any MTN store was the service I received from Blessing at this Paddocks branch! What a breeze to deal with!

If you need to renew your contract, choose a different store. After being promised my new phone (after renewing my contract) with in a few hours as it had to be delivered from the warehouse in Montague Gardens, I am still waiting 5 days later. No communication with me unless I go into the store or call to query where my new phone is. Many promises to get my phone to me before the end of the day have gone by without a call. MTNs service is normally pretty rubbish and this reinforces that opinion for sure.

The store is going good and fast.. I think Assistant Manager willem really help me great and i could see some kind of change in the store. Great choice made MTN to put in charge a guy who knows how to help and always try to go a mile ahead for us as custumer. Dont disappoint us as customers by a different person next month. Some MTN stores like gardens should learn from great experience around.. I am your customer for 5 years and i am happy, people go to MTN paddocks for willem & team👍 wow his also a willem btw

I took out a new contract with MTN ( even though I was very hesitant but wanted the perks of free data) and now I regret it! Firstly I get a call to say I can collect my new phone only to get there wait 15 minutes - with a new born in the car to be told the system is not working and I wasted my petrol and time. The next day after 12pm I then had to call the store to find out whats happening due to their lack of service again I was promised a call back and nothing after 2 hours I just got into my car and drove as clearly nothing gets resolved unless we waste our time going into the store . I get the store, then the staff let me know I can get my phone. I let the bad service and regret for going to MTN slide until instead of 34 GB of data I got 19 GB. The main reason I went to MTN turned out to be a total mess. I called in and questioned this again was promised a call back nothing - I called in 24 hours later and then only got a email to say it was just logged. It is now exactly 4 days later and nothing has been done I dont have my 34GB data and all I do have is complete regret for not going to Vodacom or Telkom as their service is MUCH BETTER and they can actually resolve issues. I called into the call center and even that was useless!!! My advice THINK TWICE WHEN WANTING A NEW CONTRACT OR UPDGRADE

Avoid this store at all cost! The sales people are childish and very unprofessional. They are also not very clued up.

Bad service. Ordered a phone, told it would take 3-4 days. 8 days later I called, no-one had ordered it. Nathaniel promised to sort it out and call me back. 3 days later I called back and he said he did try and call me once the same day. No reason fro me to continuing doing business with maverick mtn

After a few initial teething problems regarding a new contract with forms not being captured and a system being down, manual intervention and fantastic service from branch manager Carmen got it sorted out in 24 hours.

One of the few MTNs stores that attend to you quickly and phones back. My first choice when upgrading - every time.

Terrible Service! I have been waiting 11 days for my phone after I was told it would only take 24-48 hours. Everyday I was promised I’d be getting it! Clearly changing from Vodacom to MTN was a mistake.
