Fast, efficient, friendly and MTN has a very good network so no complaints.

Ive recently applied for a contract and was contacted by a consultant, and I was provisionally approved. I then sent documents which they required (ID, payslip, bank statements, and proof of address. ) Days have gone by and I have not yet been contacted again and or received any feedback. Companies are also fast to take your money but very slow to deliver what they promise. Very disappointed. Lack of transparency Empty promises.

I am having an absolute sickening experience with MTN at Cape Town International Airport.On the 23/09/2018 at about 15:30, just before my flight, I urgently needed to buy a new cell phone that had the dual sim-card functionality. I spoke to one of the consultants, Shameelah, and told her that I needed a new phone. Before purchasing the phone, my boyfriend and I specifically asked her if the Huawei P20 Lite had dual functionality - and she said yes. We proceeded to pay for the phone and I left the country for 3 weeks. Upon returning and needing to use my second sim-card, it did not work. Mind you, I am paying extra for the additional sim-card. After hours of struggling with the sim-card (thinking perhaps I did not insert the sim-card correctly) I came to the abrupt realization that the phone does not have the dual sim-card functionality as Shameelah falsely indicated.I proceeded to call the MTN at Cape Town International Airport and spoke to the manager, Thandi, who said she would speak to her manager as I want a refund. A few minutes later, I received a phone call from Shameelah who proceeded to bicker on the phone with me for 6 minutes and accused me of being contradictory. To my knowledge, she is not the manager. I assured her that this would be taken further. I will make a noise on every platform until my complaint is seen to - and resolved.I am disgusted with the way the MTN is handling this and I demand a refund. I was given a phone under false information for a quick and greedy sale. I spent my money buying a device that does not even have the feature that Shameelah told me about and I am furious about this.
Be careful of the employee who works on the left side of the counter, when facing the counter. You can walk into that shop smiling loads, being how respectful, but you will get treated very badly by him. And that’s an understatement, I mean very badly. He looks like he wants to fight everyone. He doesn’t want to answer your simple questions (i.e about data bundles). He just gives a slight nod to your questions. Oh, & he doesn’t know much about the data bundles for sale beyond what the store offers, i.e Fortnightly GB’s. Rather wait until you’re out of the airport and go to another MTN store.
