The communication is pathetic, they treat their customers like children. In their case they are king and its never the customer is king. Never ready for take off their 10 am means 12 am or sometime much later than that. Guys my advice is that before buying any tickets for anything read the reviews, that was my biggest mistake, now i have to spend the day at the station so i can see my mother off. My kids are still waiting at home for mommy to come back and serve breakfast... Never again......

Overbooked, we had no seats. We were picked on the way and the bus started moving before we could sit only to find out that there were no seats for a Capetown to Harare trip. The drivers were rude and not communicating effectively. Use this service at your own risk.

I lost my suitcase whilst travelling to the Chihwa bus and I have logged a complaint to look and investigate with tawanda and his Manager but they are giving no feedback ignoring my calls and not responding I have to keep calling them for feedback my suitcase was weighed loaded and tagged in cpt but upon arrival in Hre I couldnt find my suitcase and this suit case had only new clothes shoes blazers room diffusers socks water bottles all new clothes to take on my vacation today,I was scheduled to go on holiday in nyanga today but because Chihwa lost my bag I dont even have a pantie to put on they are not following up to find out what happened to my things.if there is any relevant police or private investigator to help me get Chihwa to produce my suitcase please help me it had my whole life in it.i dont even have anything to wear right now all my savings I bought just for Chihwa to lose it and keep quiet.i am heartbroken 😭in pain.anyone please help me even to pass this on to Mr Chihwa the owner so he knows what is happening with his staff and the business.

Very good and welcoming staff🤗, although their last bus from CapeTown(08-09-19) to Harare got delayed, they did apologize, and that was really cool, everyone just got his/her free pizza haaa, iam in there right now and were just leave Bloemfontein(09-09-19) , well presentation with one of their rastas, Ill ask his name later, keep it up more again! ,,, I wish it was going via Bulawayo 😭 Ill miss this guyz in Masvingo

A dear friend of mine booked tickets to visit her family over Christmas in Zimbabwe for this year. But due to Covid and the fact that the city of cape town is a hotspot again. She didnt want to put the people on the bus or her family at risk - even though she has tested negative for covid. Chihwa Tours Refused to refund het ticket (partial or full), but after talking to management and a very kind employee we were able to change the dates.

They are very rude those pple.

Chihwa doesnt care about their clients anymore on the ticket they write check in at 14:00hrs and come later at 16:00hrs tell you that the bus delayed is coming at 20:00hrs yet they took our phone numbers when we bought the tickets,why dont you just call us and tell people to come late?? Chihwa and team your service its so disgusting...very disappointed indeed wish i could give 0/5.

We had an awesome experience travelling from Zimbabwe to South Africa. The Bus drivers were helpful and friendly. Caring for their passengers as they would close loving family. The worst bus to use, its my second time using it from Capetown to Harare, the first time in September 2017 they dropped 17 guys at the middle of nowhere at around 1am, and the bus had to go back to the weigh bridge to help the other bus cos of overloading they spent 1:30hr to come back, then the second time August 2019 they said the bus will depart at 15:00 and arrive in Harare at 02:00, but the bus departed at 20:00, when we got to the same weigh bridge they did the same thing asked everyone to get off the bus including weman with babies at around 03:00 so that they will go back and help the other bus, only to come back at 07:00, then when we got to Pretoria something went wrong with the water pump and we parked there for 2hrs, then 40km away from Polokwane the bus stopped again and the worst thing is the drivers never communicated with the passengers,they would only respond when they were asked. Worst service ever .

I just want to put it on public record that your buss drivers are some of the worst Ive ever seen in my life. On my way back from the cape in my car I drove past 3 of your busses and they are swirling all over the road and driving dangerously, overtaking on solid lines and nearly causing multiple accidents not to mention the fact your busses have brights on all the time. Id suggest you teach your drivers how to drive or perhaps send them to driving lessons or perhaps get drivers that are actually capable of driving in a professional manner.

They used to offer good service when they started, now I would recommend Intercape if you are going to Zim with a bus. They are also quite pricey to send goods. Would give them a 5 star if they improve their service. Buses are no longer fully serviced, had to pick up my nephew on the road when their bus had mechanical issues before reaching the station in Bellville

Worst service ive ever experienced... Bus delayed by over 5hrs. We were told to be at the station by 14:30pm to depart Cape Town at 15:00.The bus only got to the station at 19:45pm and no apology or explanation at all. We got to Bellville and still more delays as they had to change tyres. I dont know what kind of business Mr Chihwa is operating here but its really not professional.

This is so pathetic if you tell your customers that the bus is leaving on Saturday morning then you change to Sunday morning expecting that Sunday morning the bus is leaving at 10 AM and till now we dont know what time is that bus and when is it going to be in Cape town there is no feedback. I bought 3 tickets for my father who is travelling with two kids and surely I must know what is going on

The worst service ever. The bus had a breakdown in bloomfontein, it took 12 hours for them to attend to the problem. The bus Finally got fixed only to breakdown in jourburg...another 6- 8 hours to get it moving. Now it has broken down again just after beit bridge....I think it will take us longer than the children of Israel to get to the promised Land. It seems they dont even have a backup bus so if it breaks down youre all skrewed. The bus seems to have outlived its life on the road too. This bus is a nightmare.

You need to improve on your services and stop loading buckets on the passage. Your buses need service or buy new buses we get numbness from sitting on those planks that appear as seats.

You will regret buying a ticket with this bus im telling you.I bought a ticket on 15december 2018 for a bus which is supposed to leave capetown-harare 22 december 2018 at 10am.Only to recieve an sms 50mins ago to inform me the bus has been rescheduled to leave monday 24 december 2018.After ive been waiting for this bus for 7days now they are gonna add 2more days.This is hell travelling,soon as the sun comes up today im going to the capetown office & get my refund.Very pathetic very unprofessional.Your worst nightmare bus.My first & last time buying a ticket with this bus.

Great way to send and receiver parcels from Zim. Take note that you can send things at the CPT branch, but you receive/ fetch things at the Bellville branch.
