Like most builders it is packed with stock and you will find most of what you need. Staff are scares and not so knowledgeable. Check your slip when you leave. I was overcharged at the till, this is the second time its happened to me at builders. Quickly sorted

A well equipped builders store with almost everything you could need. The staff was friendly and very helpful. They also knew exactly where what I was looking for was in the store. The store is well signed and easy to navigate. There is plenty of free parking close by and the place is wheelchair friendly.

Conveniently close to major shopping centers with a wide variety of hardware that you will no doubt find here including nursery necessities. I just honestly wish their service and staff were up to scratch.

Really handy location, the only frustration is the lack of floor staff who can assist. It’s been like this for as long as I can remember and would make a huge difference having a few more knowledgeable members on the floor.

Always have not great experiences at this branch, but its the closest so Im hostage to it. Previously been sold a half empty can of high quality spray paint which was a big waste of money. Their official website also said this particular store had 5x in stock of a certain item I needed so I drove over. When I went there, none were to be found. Was persuaded to buy a similar product, which now when I get home doesnt work the way it should. My suggestion is dont waste time with this branch.

After shopping there 3 times two major comebacks and poor response from management. My garden tools seemed to work...yay! Well done. Zero support when a I wanted to buy paint so I just left. Had to return as the cupboard I bought didn’t fit together as the holes were drilled wrong! Then when I bought a Dremel the item was incomplete snd what I got what old scrap marked ‘do not sell’. Now in a fight to get an actual item I paid for / my money back. What a joke. I would recommend driving somewhere else. Not worth the pain. (Post note to be fair - Dremel tool replaced and I have since been back with great support…give them a chance, it seems it was a bad time and I had some bad experiences)

Staff are impossible to find, and when you eventually locate one they are, more often than not unknowledgeable and unfriendly. Prices are not competitive, and they are often out of stock of basic items. Save yourself the pain and go to Mica where you are greeted by helpful staff as you walk in (They literally wait at the front for customers entering the store). Prices are better too.

Staff are not very friendly. Paint section for rattle can sprays not always stocked or have the colours you looking for. The reps stocking the shelves are more helpful than the floor staff.

Service is very poor. Staff arguing amongst each other (cashier today asked her manager why shes so moody, shouldnt she have rather stayed at home, in front of me the customer, pathetic really). Also, support staff make you feel like theyre doing you a favor. Crazy mentality. Management need a shake up and a better service mentality needs to be introduced.

I popped in at this branch for the first time today to buy items for the garden. I was assisted by Lloyd. What an amazing experience it was. He was very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. It was refreshing to receive great customer service.

Waited forever to find someone in the plumbing department. Eventually went to help desk ask for Manager. Guest what. I waited for him for 20min... in his defense he was helping a customer load but why would he be doing this when the staff are not working. My advice is go to another store where you will be helped.

Seemless experience while getting keys cut

What an absolute disaster of a branch. Probably one of my most unpleasant shopping experiences ever. Items are unorganised, new stock all over the floor, unpacked in boxes with little to no space to get through aisles. As if the store isnt already too small as it is with every other customer bumping into you.This made me feel rushed and very boxed in with almost no distance from other shoppers. Majority of stock have either no pricing or wrong items prices listed under it.This branch will never see me again

Looked for various items in the store and found that I could obtain their loyalty card. It took no tumor to register and I was soon out with my purchases.

Best place to get anything from paint to supplies like screw drivers. Definitely recommend it

Despite how small it is, its a Super convient store which has almost everything. The line arent that long but when it is, it moves quickly. Love it!

Very well stocked for an express hardware, big variety of everything.

Its too expensive. No specials ever there. I found something like chalkboard paint some where else for less than half the price by you. Your price range does not cater for everybody.

I dislike going to builders,the staff are unhelpful.I see them standing doing nothing and when I walk towards them they walk away as if they are all of a sudden very busy and I followed one guy and he just walked to the next aisle and stood there.They should approach customers who are obviously looking for an item and attempt to help them locate the item.I am in the building trade and a few times have been flummoxed by the ignorance of some of the staff when I ask them where an item is...they have no idea what it is or where it is,but the passage at the toilets are full of training certificates....I call BS on these cerificates.The security at the front door is always unfriendly and is always leaning on something.I go there often and have only been helped to any standard 3 times.The guy outside helping people load their cars is the nicest and most helpful guy there....move him inside and get some of those who stand around outside.Your shelves at the pool equipment and wooden shelving are always untidy.I see now there is a place on here where I can post photos....I will do so on saturday.Please take this as constructive criticism....the fault I think lies with supervision on the floor and too many staff members on the floor

Id recommend using this builders. Store is so well kept. Its neat and organized. The staff is visible and ready to help you. The items I needed were easy to find and well presented. I was in and out of the store in a matter of 10 minutes (which included selecting my items, paying and I still perused a bit). Kudos to a well run branch!

Had an incident where my paint leaked in the parking lot. They cleaned it up, insisted I exchange it for another one and Remy sticky taped the lid closed on the new one just to make sure I didnt have another incident 😋 brilliant customer service

Incredibly helpful staff and a quality products

No staff available to answer questions on their products. When I finally got hold of someone, he started helping me but then abruptly walked away leaving me to wait for him. After 15 minutes of waiting i asked to speak to the manager, who after another 10 minutes never showed up. Sadly had to leave the store empty handed.

Worst builders I ve been to ,no proper pricing staff not very helpful well thats if you actually find some one to assist. Most of the isles have boxes or merchandise trolleys in them so non room to really move around. Definitely wont see me again. They should go interact with some other builders stores for some tips

Our USA based client ordered/paid for an appliance online from Builders Express, Kenilworth. I offered to collect the item this morning early (Sat., 08 Feb), all I can say is that the service from the Help Desk to the gent who carried the box to my car was 5-STAR AWESOME! Thank you Builders Express, clearly your staff are well trained in customer service on the very top level, because it shows. From the first phone call to collection.

I was looking for assistance for +/-10 just to confirm a price as there was no price on the shelf. Staff kept passing and saying theyll get someone to assist . I had to go and get someone to assist myself and that even seemed like a burden to him to assist.

I shop here regularly (today is my third time in a week) and have mentioned several times to the Branch Manager, Abdul, that it is frustrating for customers to not see the prices of the merchandise on the shelves.(Of 5 items purchased today, only 1 was marked!)I was told by Abdul that it is because of COVID - really!? Poor excuse!!

Builders Warehouse is admirably consistent, every single branch manages to find or somehow produce staff who are unfriendly and unhelpful. I needed information about a product. I went to the information counter because in the past when I asked other staff they sent me to it anyway. I waited. The person at the information counter went to a till to help the customer who had been at the information counter ahead of me. She did. The customer left, the staff member never came back instead she remained at the till - not helping customers - doing something else. She did not return for 15 minutes. While I waited another staff member came and saw us waiting with no-one to help us. He ignored me and asked the person behind me what he was trying to do. He spent the next 10 minutes coming and going, checking in with that customer behind me and ignoring me. I dont know what happened after that because I left for Brights.

Should stock the same specials like other Builders Warehouses. Always need to look for someone to assist you in the isles. Other than that love popping in specially to brows the garden section.

So today my parents went to builders the service was pathetic after looking for someone in the store to help them 2 sales persons was helping one lady in any case they waited an waited an they never even knew what the lady was looking for they Googled it never the less after still standing an waiting to be helped they decided to rather walk out an find another place there was no one on the floor to help them pathetic really.

What they advertise and what they actually have in store are two very different things.

As typical with Builders warehouse, majority of staff are unhelpful in uninterested in helping customers. The outdoor/garden and plants section here is fairly decent for the size.

Dont buy anything online from Builders! Online orders do not take priority. I placed my online order on the 17th June and was told I could collect it on the 22 June. When I called the call center on the 22 June, I was told that Amanda from Kenilworth would contact me to advise me on my order but I received no feedback from Amanda. After back and forth calls with the call center I find out that they are out of stock. My account has been debited but they cant fulfill my order because they dont have stock. I cant believe this.

Stock stacked everywhere in the aisles, 3 days later same situation, only 2 cashiers on the till, queues down the aisle.You might think its Covid related but there are so many people wanting to work that it can only be because Massbuild are trying to keep costs down at the expense of customer service.But generally service is always substandard here, always queues and you get more assistance from supplier reps than BW staff.Its knly the 1 stop shopping that sees me return.
