Non existent customer service. A branch full of staff standing around and chatting, watching videos and not at all interested in doing their jobs. This is a classic case of slack management or the lack of management. Take your jobs seriously you guys. Other people in other sectors has lost their jobs because of covid. Be grateful. Do your job.

When entering the shop one of the cashiers was laughing on the phone and the other staff simply ignored me to such an extent that I left and went to Build-it down the road and received courteous and better service.I will avoid your unproffessional shop in future

They had all the items I required. Their prices seemed to be ok. They have a strange way of serving you, when you walk in a sales person will quickly attend to you. You select the items required and another sales person will print a sales docket which you then take to the payment kiosk. Before exiting the store a security person will check your items with the sales docket. It seems a very labor intensive process but at least people have work.

Staff seem as if its a chore to help. Once I eventually found what I was looking for (they seem to be well stocked), it was quick and easy.

So very sorry I wasted my time petrol I bought R500 worth of plumbing fittings and each 1 was in individual Ziplock bags after waiting for ever to pay at till security starts taking them out of Ziplock bags and places 3 in 1 bag and I ask him to stop and put it as it was its for a customer if I need to return it it must be the way I bought it! He started throwing all my stuff in my bag and got extremely rude 🤬it is so ridiculous is Buco that cheap?? Or is there security being otherwise??? I will not advise anyone to shop there!!

Very poor service. There were so many missing items when I got delivery from the store.But they gave me proof of delivery. It said everything on the list were delivered..They said they checked everything when they delivered. But they didnt check it properly. When I visited store again to complain missing items, their security and sales man confessed they didnt have some of stocks on the delivery list.You can think about this situation how it can happen.More than R900 were missed.If I didnt check and complained about this?They said this is only one time that happen so seriously. I said because other client dont check everything. and they said it is true.

Lovely small hardware store but great service

I always get the best service from Taswell and the rest of the team. I often need deliveries and special orders and it is never too much trouble. The staff know my name and even recognize my phone number greeting by name when I phone. Small town friendly service and the client is not just another number like at the competition.

Very limited product variety & their prices are easily beatable, but their floor staff do have a bit more knowledge about the items available than their bigger competitor. (Builders warehouse)it would be great if Buco expanded their product range though because at the moment (08/2018) its pretty much a hit-&-miss gamble whether or not youll find what youre looking for at their store...(Builders warehouse also fails with product variety, so it is also possible that my expectations may just be unreasonable):)

Many items are not priced - you have to ask, which takes time!Check that their systems are online first before you have to wait for them to write out the invoice by hand!Otherwise staff generally are friendly and helpful.

3 Hardware stores in my vicinity: Builders Warehouse; Build-It and then... this place. Today proved again why this is my utter last choice. Unfriendly, incompetent, lethargic staff. No explanation to patrons waiting in long queues as to why there is a single card machine assigned to 5 pay points. I blame management for the obvious lack of customer care. Seriously weak excuse of a hardware store.

The only reason one would use this, would be purely desperation, surely no person wants to visit a store of people filled with contempt for the customer :staff not always knowledgeable, one often wonders for a while until they locate the product. Sadly, the same is true even when assited by a store band. As for their double system.... Visit them at own peril.

Its a good glorified hardware store that has basically all the main basic building supplies that you require.I walked in, went to the section that had the items i was looking for. They were cheaper than other stores which was a bonus.The payment system is a bit whack. Had to go to three counters to make a simple payment. I find this a waste of paper as I recieved an order form for the goods i bought, then went to the till to pay for the goods to recieve another till slip and then for security to check the goods and stamp my slip. Thats being wasteful.Would have given 5 stars if not for me trying to juggle my slips, items, other shopping bags, wallet, backpack and card to make a simple payment.
