To say I was extremely disappointed with my recent experience with Bride and Co Canal walk is an understatement. I recently made a booking more than a month in advance for a bridal dress fitting at the Canal walk store. I called two weeks before the booking and mentioned I wanted to bring champagne and that the 8 of us would be happy to pay extra or whatever was needed. The manager then informed me that the bride can only bring 3 people with her to the fitting. No where on the website or the booking confirmation is this mentioned at all. I have several bridesmaids who have booked flights to come down for this! The manager said they cannot accommodate all 8 of us as Saturday is a busy day. But we have a booking? She then said if we came on Sunday they can accommodate us. I mentioned that we cannot do Sunday as the flights back home are booked for Sunday morning already. She then said they cannot allow us to have 8 people because of covid, but offered to accommodate 8 people on Sunday (does covid rest on Sundays?) I offered the solution of booking us as two appointments at the same time so as to avoid breaking covid regulations to which the manager Mpho reverted with are you going to buy two dresses? They were completely unwilling to accommodate or help us even when I provided solutions to their problems. Bride and Co doesnt care at all about their customers. Money is the end game and thats all that matters too them. Will not be supporting them at all in the future.

I have no words to describe the level of unprofessional service at Bride & Co Canal Walk after spending thousands of rands at this store. Brides.. Stay far far away!!!!I got married in Feb, in a dress I paid over 7k for, that had holes in it, noticed after I collected it, a day before my wedding (due to them messing up an alternation). The alteration was tacked on (no jokes!) like a child had sewed it on and it had diamante missing on the straps. It looked like a 2nd hand hand-me-down! I was promised feedback in Feb by Lameez and it is now June and no response despite messages to her! I would give them a HARD PASS. The pictures speak for themselves

Yesterday was my daughters first dress shopping and me as a mom ,I was not impressed at all.The consultant never introduced herself.My daughter could only fit on 4 dresses, although the website states that it is an unlimited fitting.The music in your store is not appropriate and I would suggest you play classical music.I could not distinguish the staff from the visitors and suggest they wear a uniform with a name tag. I had a terrible experience with Bride & Co in Cape Town at Canal walk Mall. I got contacted the moring before my appointment to confirm if I am still coming. The lady on the phone was quite rude when she asked me if I am still coming to the appointment. I got to the store quite early as I was told via email I should be there 15 mins prior to the appointment. I waited to be assisted by the bridal assistant. Eventually the lady with the name Nikita approached us and asked what dresses do I have in mind ? I showed her a couple images that I saved from the website. She then went and pick a few dresses. As I got in the first dress she left and I had to struggle to zip myself up and I had to call my friend that was with me at the fitting. As she approached to assist me with the dress the lady came running and said I am here I will help. Just a few minutes later that again happened. The lady was nowhere to be found to assist me at this point I was so irritated. Not only do you not attend to the customer when assistance is needed and take forever to get another dress or veil. This was my first weddingdress fitting and you spoiled it with your terrible service. I eventually got I dress that I liked and asked for a veil with it and that also took forever for the lady to just bring the veil. I fully understand you are only trading till 14:00 but you are trading till all your customers left. Then when I was done and got out of the dress the lady came with the invoice surprisingly telling me about how much discount they gave me to compromise on my budget. I then only felt important as a customer,but only to find out there was no DISCOUNT GIVEN TO ME. The dress is on sale. I then was totally disappointed with way I was treated. I would never go back to Bride and Co in Canal walk.

I am NOT HAPPY. I bought my gown from Bride and Co and adjustments had to be made. I have now been trying for 2 months to get my gown back!! Everything is paid for, so I find this very very upsetting. I phone and email and whatsapp and msg, but they are just not helpful. They promised to deliver my gown by mid June at the latest. I asked for BEGINNING of June and started phoning them then. They just ignored my request and were quite rude when I explained why I desperately needed the dress by beginning June because my wedding had to be postponed from 2 May already! THIS IS REALLY REALLY TERRIBLE

I always thought very highly of this store and it was a nice experience in the beginning. Afterwards is was just downhill; I paid too much for the dress and if I did not pick it up on my slip they would have just kept my money. The dress needed alterations as it was too long and there was a hole in the back: seamstress was distasteful. I just called the store and was holding on for a long time with no answer. Called the cellphone number on their flyer, a lady answered and after I spoke she just hanged up. I called the landline again, got an assistant, she told me to hold on and then she dropped the line. I called back with no response from them. How utterly rude and unprofessional. My dress is still there which means I have to deal with this store one more time - not looking forward at all.

Horrible experience. I would not recommend you to come here, you will only be disappointed by the service. My friend bought a bridal gown there, because they told her the seamstress can definitely make it smaller and that she must come back 6 weeks before her wedding to make it smaller. 6 weeks before her wedding, the seamstress told her its not possible to make the dress smaller. So she had to return her dream wedding dress (which almost was impossible), she was in tears - with no dress 6 weeks before her wedding.Second horrible experiences, I bought a bride & co dress, and I had to dry clean it, so I phoned in advance to find out, how long it would take, and the costs everything. I told the lady over the phone, it was my wedding dress and what date it should be ready - she told me, because it is a Bride & co dress the dry cleaning will be free, it will take up to 2 weeks and they can definitely do it before function. I drove an hour to this place, only to hear, that no, they cant do it, they dont do wedding dress dry cleaning before function, and they have a back log of 4 -6 weeks on dry cleaning, and it will cost me R 600.00 (its actually not about the money, its I drove all the way for nothing, BIG DISAPPOINTMENT)driving all the way to hear this sh*t.Another bride in tears. well done Bride & co.

Great experience ever @ Canal walk & friendly staff. 1 Lady who stood out was the coloured lady who help me with my dress fitting, forgot her name M?(A bit old that other staff members ) She was super friendly, product knowledge was excellent & great recommendations.
