Hairdresser on site ### who would have known? if a friend hadnt alerted me I personally would not have.3 hairdressers including an authentic Italian barber.Plenty space for social distancing.On line booking and payment - so no need to dawdle after the cut.And very competitive prices. I paid R150 for a cut and wash. ( short hair). Thanks Nicole. A great experience.

What a wonderful experience. All the staff were extremely friendly, kind and helpful. Tammy especially, she is super gifted and has magic in her finger tips. I highly recommend the Swedish massage and dont go for anything less than 1hr. You won be sorry, I promise! Thank You Tammy.

Lovely spa for facials and massages, will definitely keep returning for those. The staff are friendly and often make a big effort to make one comfortable and relaxed even outside of the treatments.I would not return to get my nails done there though. I made a complaint directly with them and they did make an effort to deal with my complaint, so in the end, I was HAPPY with the service, even if I wouldnt return for my nails.Their prices are generally pretty good too.You definitely leave feeling very pampered :)

Best perlemoen I have ever had!

Me and my husband spent the evening there yesterday, 12 February for our 11th wedding anniversary. We were welcomed by friendly ladies. I want especially to thank Faith for all her help and friendliness, she made us feel so welcome. Then to the 2 ladies Nems and the other lady thay did my massage,think its Primrose(sorry...ekt if the name is wrong)I really appreciated the way you handled me you did a great job.

Do not look any further when you are looking for the best spa treatment and professional friendly service and staff.We came here for our anniversary, and wow, they made every moment special. The treatments was the best, the food was out off the books. The room was made up to perfection with the bubbly and chocolate package with rose pedals, gifts balloons.They have a lot off specials and the perfect packages to choose from. You wont be disappointed, I promise. We are definitely coming back here, even if its just to sit in their living area looking at the view with the best cappuccino on the humongous coach.Thank you Thyme wellness spa You made me and my wife very happy and we are very impressed. . A most pleasant experience. I was greeted with a free foot massage and tea or coffee. I had a great chat with a very lovely , friendly and very hands on owner.I left the place feeling great and happy with my hair and the service. I will certainty be back.

Attended a 2 day training program at Thyme wellness spa. The place is well maintained and neat. However the food is not of the best quality I actually got very sick as well and some of my colleagues that attended with me. On the last day they served us meat wraps I couldnt even tell if it was Halaal. But from what I saw it looked half raw and very pink. They dont have the friendliest of staff either!

We had booked a full body treatment at Thyme Wellness Spa and upon arrival greeted with friendly faces and welcomed with refreshments. The therapists were incredibly professional and friendly and gave an all round great experience for our first visit. I would most definitely recommend this beautiful establishment and will gladly return to visit Thyme and Thyme again ;)

Review #1 (January 2019): Excellent service. You come here for a treat and they really make you feel special. Massage was amazing; bubbly in the Jacuzzi was the cherry on the cake!Review #2 (May 2019): for my second visit to Thyme yesterday, I was very happy with the welcome and the general service. Compared to the first time, though, I didnt enjoy some of my treatments (full body massage, foot ritual) as much as the first time. The Indian head massage and body exfoliation were amazing. Although the treatments lasted the correct amount of time, it felt rushed and only when I asked to decrease pressure during treatments, did it feel effective. Both my partner and myself said had the same experience, but I think his experience was worse. The pressure was inconsistent. Overall, though we had a lovely time in the Saffron room. The dinner menu is small but the food was delicious. On an overnight stay, your service really feels personal. I hope to visit again soonReview #3 (May 2021): I always have a good massage at Thyme Wellness Spa. I also always recommend and book for family as gifts. Today, we were greeted by a very friendly Tammy and felt immediately welcomed. My fiancé and I both had new (new to us) therapists today - Tammy and Lisa. They are so well trained here and we both enjoyed our 90mins massages. However, I had an issue with the receptionist and even though it my first time encountering this receptionist it is not the first time having this same issue. I would appreciate a call from the owner regarding this

Great facilities, fantastic management and excellent therapists. Located just off the N1 highway, it is easy to get to. The well priced guest house will tempt even locals to stay over.

There were make-up of a previous client left on the sheets where we had a massage. Jacuzzi water was cold so we got out after waiting for 10 minutes for it to warm up which it did not. A session is 20 minutes long... It was supposed to be romantic afternoon for me and my hubby... but turned out rather unpleasant.

I had a pedicure and manicure. The massage and service was great, but the buffs need to be changed to softer alternatives. My toe and finger got nicked by the hard edges and it is was bleeding and a bit painful. Overall, still a good experience.

One of the best massages I’ve ever had. The Therapists are highly trained. I just didn’t like that they had their cellphones on charge in our treatment room.

This was the first time I have been to Thyme Spa and my first massage. It was wonderful, I am sold/addicted! Will recommend Thyme to anyone. Lesley Niemand

I absolutely adored my recent stay at the Thyme X Guest House and Spa. The same affect are friendly, the treatments are heavenly and the atmosphere that of a friends home.For a simple weekend get away or extended stay this little gem in the heart of Plattekloof is a must.

I had a pedicure which was SO disappointing- I sent a photo of my bubbles nail varnish and the reply was to come for a scalp massage! Helo! I had to redo my toes & then saw how rough the skin was- waste of money & my time

My wife had a good experience there. They fluffed up the manicure though so had to return for re do.
