Really cool thing to do, especially on a cold rainy day in Cape Town! We had a great tour guide, a surprisingly big group and although the factory lines werent running, still got to see how it all comes together - and you get tasters and 2 drinks at the end of the tour!

This is by far the best value for money beer tour in Cape Town. 80 rand gives you the 5 of the best SAB beers to taste and 2 tokens that allow you to get any 2 draughts. The tour takes you through all the inner workings of the brewery and ends with a brief summary of the Newlands Microbrewery. Its amazing anf I would give it 6 stars of possible!

Very informative and wonderful tour. The tour guide, Alexia is very clued up and made the experience so much more enjoyable. I would recommend the tour to everybody 🍺

Why did you change the 500ml Stella to a 440ml.Im just buying 500ml beer cans for my Bar.Now I cant buy Stella anymore 😢😢

Its a very nice place but honestly i left there in painWe got there and noone even served usWe had to go and get our own drinks on the bar and all the tables had waiters and waitresses ecxept us and i wondered why only to realise that we the only Black people aroundI thought we are one but its clear that as long as you are black they are places you cnt go

Nice place. Very strict with health and safety. They do however not sell beer here, they just make it.

The Newlands Brewery tour is a worthwhile experience. Book in advance!If possible try to phone at least a week in advance of the date you wish to take the tour, it is popular and spaces fill up quick.The tour is well priced, includes the tour, a beer tasting at the end and tokens for a couple of free drinks at the on site bar. (Further drinks can also be purchased if tokens run dry)The tour itself is fascinating, with all staff very well informed and knowledgable. All steps from start to finish are toured. Headsets and relevant safety equipment is provided at the start.The tour finishes up with an informative beer tasting. Considering the availability of wine tasting in Cape Town, as well as the rise of craft beer experiences, visiting an ordinary full scale brewery with such a good tour is actually quite a refreshing experience.

It was a pleasure going there. With the new system in place its all good. Only the parking was a bit far but yes then again the Breweries assigned a few people to assist everyone with carting their water to their vehicles.

Really enjoyed the tour. Very professional, and always cool to watch big production lines at work. Even if my favourite beers were from the little craft brewery in the old brick building by the tap room.

Spring access has been closed to the public. City has opened a new access point at Newlands Pool nearby but this is already getting over crowded because they closed the Spring Road point. SAB - please reopen your spring. You were providing a great community service.

Im very happy to be able to collect fresh clean water. Sometimes there us quite a queue but usually moving in an oederley way.
