Best place for a good beer in hout bay

Attended this past weekends Oktoberfest which profed to be a huge disappointment. A complete waste of money spent on the entrance fee! Poor hospitality and minimal ambience!!!

This place was pretty dope. Nothing like a good nitro beer with good music. The atmosphere was what got me. It was pretty laid back and there was a table with a group playing beer pong. Nice place to relax and have a cold one for a solid price. Definitely a good spot to pregame as well.

Stopped here on the way from Cape Town to Cape of Good Hope and loved it. Its a funky little place and though they dont serve food, theres a great Fish & Chips place called Snoekies across the street. The bartender told us about it and no problem bringing stuff into the pub. There was a nice outside seating area, as well. Loved their beer, especially the Dungeons Stout.

Great beers, nice variety, and good seating both indoors and outdoors. If youre hungry, you can pick up food at the market and bring it over. Easy place to spend a few hours!

A little brewing gem hidden in Fish Hoek harbour ( not the main area but further on!). A quaffable Monkeys Paw Pilsener. Casual outdoor seating and social indoor area around the bar. Brewing vessels visible - good kit!! Cool music and salty pretzels ! And a Happy Hour every day 5-6pm. Be there...( arrange a driver to go home!) :-)

Very good Blonde Ale. Barman said if you Check-in from Facebook my first beer would be half-price. Well played, well played. There was live music, which complimented the rainy weather, all in all making it a really great first visit.

Nice brewery taproom, quite cool inside and a private mini beer garden out front. Has a selection of the brewerys beers and a cider. A few munchies available if needed, but remember eatings cheating. Enjoyable after strolling round the market next door. Would have stayed longer if I could.

Nice taproom and really good micro brews! Especially the lagers and pils. Its beside a sculpture garden for others to browse while tasting. Only detraction is service which could be better now theyve been open a while.
