Our stay at The Muize Bed and Breakfast was a memorable experience. We felt at home since we arrived there until we booked out. Nice and quiet atmosphere. And the guest house owner interaction was welcome and warm. The hygiene of the place is perfect and we will definitely recommend the place highly. We will definitely give it a second try.

Really lovely stay for just the one night. Room was more than adequate, magnificent views from the stoep. Breakfast was amazing! And all at a really pocket friendly price. Hosts were super friendly. Recommend heartily.

Wasnt a fan of our reception and it was very noisy. Mostly from the outside, but still. Breakfast was lovely.

Daniel, the son to the owner; received me so well, with a happy face and fetched my luggage and took it to my very cosy room with a full view.I had a wonderful two day stay, and their free WiFi made my work stay there such a great experience. Upon check out, I was bidded farewell by his kind and warm mother with a scrumptious pescetarian breakfast. Thank you very much guys, definitely coming soon back with family.

Great hospitality

Whilst the staff is friendly, breakfast is excellent and beds comfortable, we experienced a few unpleasant situations such as cold showers coupled with extremely low water pressure. It seems like our towels weren’t washed on a daily basis or we did not receive a fresh clean towel everyday (could smell the dampness of the towel from its last use). Rather disappointing. I wish we had a better experience on our first stay in cape town

The Muize is ideally located within walking distance of the beach, shops and restaurants. The rooms are beautifully decorated and the breakfasts are heavenly! Lovely place to stay and surf the team of Muize is awesome and helps you a lot!The view and beds are 👏 awesome. I chose the shared bath and there is nothing to worry about 👌🏻 will come back in March.

We had a fabulous stay at The Muize. It was perfect for our family of 14. Breakfast was amazing and they even went the extra mile in preparing take away breakfast. It was an overall a great experience and I would recommend The Muize to any traveller or holidaymakers.

This place has been totally refurbished and I was so impressed. The family are really friendly and accommodating and the location was unbelievable. The sea is right there and the estuary is on the doorstep so the views wherever you look are stunning. We enjoyed every minute and would highly recommend it.

If you are looking for a place to stay in Muizenberg that is central, comfortable and has a room with an amazing view The Muize is for you.We were pleasantly surprised by a large and modern room with an outstanding view onto the surrounding mountains. The Muize is located very centrally which made everything within walking distance, including all of the great local eating spots.Daniel Blaauw (the proprietor) immediately made is feel welcome and was quick to share his invaluable knowledge about the local area which we found helpful. Not forgetting that he also cooks a wicked breakfast!Dan, thanks again for having us and for making our stay so enjoyable we look forward to seeing you again soon.

We were quite spoiled as we travelled across South Africa in terms of price/quality of the places we stayed at so we were a little disappointed with The Muize. The hotel is beside a busy road and the rooms are fine, but the traffic is quite loud. If youre a surfer though, I think this place could be perfect - right beside the sea with a few food options around and a friendly vibe with the other guests.

Had the most amazing stay here, best service in town, all the recommendations were brilliant and the location is perfect. Loved walking to the beach in the mornings and having such incredible restaurant for dinner just a stone throw away.

Very welcoming hosts, who took care of everything and gave us a good home feeling.Room, shower, toilet all right and good the price great!The location is right on the road and when the traffic starts in the morning, it is noisy.Nevertheless a favorable recommendation!

A great safe place where you can spend a few days relaxed. Very personally guided by the family, who also likes to help and advice and does not lack good tips. The rooms are decorated with love and the beds very comfortable. There is a secure parking space right next to the house for the car. The breakfast and also for all accessible and versatile filled drinks fridge are excellent, as well as the covered seating area for smokers and the self-evident Wifi. Tip For golfers, the Clovelly and Westlake golf courses are only 15 minutes away by car and the property is strategically well suited for day trips around the Cap but also in the Wineyards.
