We enjoyed our stay at Dolphin Inn. We had a spacious room with a balcony overlooking the ocean. Artistic decor and stylish finishes. The breakfast was delicious. The owners are friendly and helpful and made us feel at home. Located close to the Waterfront, and a few minutes walk from the open bus pickup point. There are many great restaurants in the area.

I cannot think of a more central B&B in the Peninsula. My home away from home

It looks a little old school but its a great place to stay, a 10 min walk from the beautiful waterfront (dont walk it alone at night if youre a woman).It has very good breakfast, a beautiful view if you take a room with sea view which I recommend, its right in front of a small square where early birds and runners cross each other.Owners are friendly and honest and go out of their way. Has a nice honesty bar with beer and coco water.I recommend

Such an amazing place to stay, great atmosphere and the owners are very welcoming and are some of the nicest i’ve met. The guesthouse and rooms are very cosy, clean and safe. Felt right at home. Thank you T and P, will be back!

Visited years ago and the rooms and hosts were great. The pictures of the refurbished rooms look great. Really want to return to Cape Town soon, and if I do Ill be returning to stay here.

Thank you Mina for making our 2wk stay less stressful under the circumstances. The Dolphin Inn is a excellent place to stay with pleasant rooms, and is brilliantly situated over looking the sea,near good resturants and the waterfront within walking distance.Elise&Amanda

This place was perfect for me. There is a very homey feel to it and the lady who runs it, Mina, could not be more friendly and helpful. Although check in times are limited dont let that put you off. My train was 5 hours late arriving so I sent Mina a WhatsApp message to let her know what was happening. She sent me detailed instructions on how to get in, where my room was and when breakfast was. When I eventually arrived everything was ready for me although Mina wasnt there to greet me. There was a well- stocked mini fridge in my room (water, coke, beer, chocolate and crisps) with a clear price list on the front and an honesty system for the stocked fridges in the dining area which also included bottles of wine.Its worth being aware that there is a cat that hangs out in the communal areas.

Lovely guesthouse on the shore of the ocean.We enjoyed a lovely afternoon walk along the paved pathway all the way to the V&A Waterfront and back past the guesthouse to thlighthouse and back - watching the setting sun along our way.Such a beautiful part of our country where things seems to be working as it should.The Dolphin Inn is a beautifully appointed guesthouse with beautiful views of the ocean.We would certainly return.

This place is wonderful! Very clean and quiet rooms. Sandra and Mullen were so friendly and accommodating. They answered all questions and even booked tours.This is definitely a place Ill return to when I come back to Cape Town.

This is not a fancy Guest House, a 90s building but simply beautiful inside, lots of art. Good service from the owners (PAUL AND TANIA). It is also at the sea front where you have chances to see the Dolphins whilst having your breakfast.

Excellent location. Owners are fantastic and very helpful with knowledge of things to do and places to go. Easy walking to the V&A Waterfront or the the beaches. Plenty of free on street parking right out front of the guesthouse.

Background first to setup correct expectation for viewers: we lived in Stellenbosch & Cape Town for many years and moved to Joburg. We stayed at Dolphin Inn for long weekend escape from Joburg.We stayed at a modern place previously, then moved here to experience something different. What I can tell is, modern Bauhaus is factastic, but traditional Dolphin Inn is more tasty: it feels warm and comfortable anywhere. We stayed at first floor left side with balcony, and nothing can beat this view. The room is well facilitated and all is simply at the right place. The public area makes feel welcome and just want to chilling there. Walking distance to the sea walk and the light house (if you are a fan), some great restaurants nearby, next to the road but little noise, literally nothing to complain. If this is the style you are looking for, it wont disappoint you at all.

Had a very nice stay at this Inn. Very close proximity to the beach, literally less than a minute; nice view toward the beach; close to a shopping mall and a weekend farm produce market. It is a very hospitable place, very clean, welcoming, 24 hour security patrol, free & fast WiFi. Id certainly go back there again

A beautiful location right on the water with an amazing staff that not only provides the best breakfast and coffee in Cape Town, but who will go out of their way to be incredibly accommodating !
