Beautiful guesthouse with stunning views of Table Mountain (if youre lucky enough to have a room with a view). Adhere to covid regulations. Friendly and helpful host. I stayed there a whole week on a business trip. The place is clean and very comfortable. The room was well equipped with air conditioning and emergency lights (which was not needed, luckily).The owner was extremely friendly and made the most delicious omelettes, great way to start the day! Its located away from the busy streets which makes nights peaceful.

Its a 50/50 for me.If youre young and on vacation...dont come here.The guests and the owners are tightly wound.This place is for pensioners, business trips and families with little kids.I think they have a target market and thats okay really. Its far from the beach so you really need to make sure youve hired your car straight from the airport. Our room also had a sliding door (downstairs) but couldnt open, apparently past guests were reckless so they locked up, not fair for us who can only take in the view from the glass door (not even going to mention the breakfast myth) and the stores are a bit of a distance so come prepared.However, the place was clean and just as you see it in the pictures. Lovely. I liked the private entrance as well. The area also just feels all round safe. I just feel Id have appreciated it more 10years from now.

Nothing special at this place. Its in a good area and the accommodations are clean. The facility uses grey water which smells, so you have to keep the bathroom toilet closed. Dont expect much from service either, if you get a room for 700 rand a night its good, anything more you can do better. No upgrades or any perks either.

Great price, very clean, housekeeping staff was incredibly friendly and kind -- as was the wife of the owner. A few warnings. Ask for a room with a view: our room faced the Concrete Berlin Wall of the next house over, with no view. Since we stayed for five days, this felt -- a bit hemmed in. We had two small requests, and the owners response was quite defensive when we asked if workers (who began hammering right outside our room at 8:30am) could start later. He met our second request for wifi help (each room is limited to only a certain amount of data per day) with disdain and defensiveness (you must be mistaken, no one else complains). This surprised us.If hospitality is your bread & butter, I found myself wondering why he responded to our requests with this kind of defensiveness? A lot could have been navigated more helpfully if he had simply acknowledged it wasnt ideal to have hammering going on during ones vacation at the 8am hour, or that todays information economy requires an update to their wifi policy, and theyd consider it. Maybe we just caught him on a bad week. For people considering staying here, it seems important to negotiate such things (especially the wifi and the room view) before arrival.
