Booked a soak off, manicure and gel overlay. I wanted nail art done but I did not know I had to specifically ask to book for someone that does nail art. The lady that I got didn’t do nail art. I even tried to look for simple ones with just a plain line and asked if she could do it, she simply was not willing to try. Ended up just doing a soak off, with no manicureAfter this experience, I decided to give them another go because my other two experiences there were ok. I had a lip and brow wax done. Lip wax was fine but while doing my brow wax, I could hear her start to panic and she just told me to keep my eyes closed. After a few minutes, she told me she dropped wax on my lashes and she used some oil and it’s now off. Two weeks later I’m looking at my lashes and notice a small section of my lashes are all one length and shorter than the rest. So it now appears to me the wax didn’t come off and she snipped off my lashes. I understand accidents happen (although this is the first time ever I had a brow wax accident) but she could have explained what was happening and be honest about it. Disappointed that this sorbet won’t be my go to salon as it’s so close to home, rather drive further to get more experienced service.

Ive always been able to get a booking here within a short period of time. Clean environment and friendly staff. I had my gel nails remove on Friday and when I got home, I realized the base coat wasnt properly removed. I phoned again to make another appointment for this morning, to have the rest removed free of charge. Lulu helped me this morning and she was very professional.

Access is easy. And the manicure was done well.

Ive been going here for my brows for about 4 months - only because its close by my house. My appointments always felt rushed and I was never really satisfied with my brows after, until today. Lulu did such a great job, she took her time and didnt pull my skin with the tweezers - not even once! Very very happy, and will only ask for her from now on.

It saddens me to type a negative review-today at 13;15, I was over charged for soak-off gel (no buff) for R220 after checking prices online and going back to the owner. I was told its R110 rand per hand, she lied to my face. When I called my regular go to sorbet century city , I was told its R110 for the treatment. I am incredibly disappointed that the owner was dishonest, clearly it was a purposeful action. I did not call back for a refund, and left it. I think honesty is so important in business, and was disappointed that I was lied to after I gave an opportunity for the matter to be dealt with.Would not recommend this sorbet and it is the last time I go there

Very neat and clean, friendly beauticians 👏. Lisa was super and made my first visit to this sorbet very pleasant. Ill be going there from now on. Would recommend.

Really friendly staff here and appointments are almost on time. Perhaps a 5 minute wait while the room is disinfected. A smile when you walk in. Feel good atmosphere.

Yeah. Its just okay. Im always disappointed at the technicians sorbet has. I oy go there when Im left with no other option.

I am traumatized. My therapist although very friendly requires to be trained on hygiene. Upon doing my nails and wanting nail art the therapist used her saliva on a stick to pick up the Diamante stone to apply to my nail. I would not recommend this sorbet to anyone especially during covid as not even my temperature was taken upon arrival.

So today I went to sorbet for my gelish the lady at the reception greeted me and welcomed me professionally as she always does and handed me over to a lady by the name of Zandile who then escorted me to choose a colour I then sat down and she started doing my nails I got no greetings from this lady I cant even tell you how her voice sounds because she didnt utter a word through out the treatment she was just doing hand signals I must say Im very disappointed by this as Ive been one of the regulars at this place and Ive always been happy with my treatments and professionalism of the staff but this lady😏the owner of this place is a lovely lady I wouldnt want to go anywhere else

Gel nails was not applied right or nail polish was dry as the polish pulled. Turned into a two hour manicure... had to get it soaked off and redone... happy at the end with my pedicure and nails but the owner didn’t even apologize for the inconvenience...

My mother in law went there cause she cant do her own feet/toenails due to been abit over weight and they refused do to a pedicure cause she had a ingrown toe nail... Is that not a purpose to get a pedi cure

I booked a brow and lip wax at this new sorbet, and this treatment usually takes about 10 - 15 minutes, but on this day it took 30 minutes and she didnt even get all the hair off. And the lady doing the treatment, it felt like she was a trainee and she put like 2 strips of wax on my eyebrows and plucked the rest, and she could never get the wax off one time so she ended up pulling my skin unnecessary... honestly I was excited when I saw there was a sorbet close by, but that one experience just let me down completely... I will try again but with different facialist...

Friendly staff and great service. Definitely recommend Selina if you are getting your gellish removed, she is such a pro and you leave with your nails in top condition.
