Therapists are always very friendly, but a little disheartening when you go for a treatment to relax and unwind, and you can hear speaking from the front desk, especially therapists querying bookings etc with the manager/host. At my last appointment, my therapist was complaining to another about being overbooked. Could be a little more mindful of clients.

Visited for a nail appointment about 2 weeks ago and it was lovely. All the ladies there are friendly and helpful and my nails looked amazing thanks to Precious. I will definitely be visiting again.

Quite pleased with the service at this branch, which I used for the first time. They were a little late to start, but what I liked is that I still got my full hour - so they did not skimp on my session. Luckily I was not in a hurry. Massage was wonderful, and the therapist knew her thing. Therapy rooms are a little small but did the trick, but no proper waiting area, just an extra chair next to the nail bar. Outside tables could suffice though. I was super happy to have gotten a same day appointment, and my back feels good, so all round happy.

This is a good branch of sorbet, they always give great service and their level of quality can always be relied on. I took off one star only because of staff turnover, and the new lady that did my acrylic overlay made it too thin, and some nails broke. But every other experience at that branch has been great.

I managed to get a walk in appointment, they were so friendly and accommodating. I was thrilled with the fantastic outcome!

I went for my pre-birthday spoils and absolutely loved being pampered by Nthando and Jeanette. I am so happy with my treatments. Thank you to both ladies at Sorbet Cavendish for your friendly and bubbly personalities. Will be back.

My recent visit to Sorbet Cavendish was impeccable. Warm and friendly therapists, coupled with a beautiful mani and pedi.

I went in for Polygel Sculpture on a Saturday afternoon, received less than-than-friendly service from the nail tech and my thumb broke within 15 hours, with the other thumb chipping. Was underwhelmed with the look of the manicure Im general but it was my first time with polygel so I didnt think much of it. Phoned to make an appointment for a redo; they were only available on Tuesday. By the time of my appointment 3 nails had broken off. I requested a refund and for them to all be taken off. Eventually, they agreed to refund me but they did not seem happy about it.

It was good, but no as good as Sorbet can be. I usually go to Constantias branch and get way better service. So Ill just return there on my next Sorbet visit

Great place but not sufficient waiting area

I had a mini mani. I especially requested to have my cuticle removed / trimmed. However i feel my cuticles couldve been removed more. Still looks overgrown.

Pedi was top class. Staff were efficient and friendly. Good value for money and conveniently situated for one stop all day shopping experience.

Went for a massage a few weeks ago and the receptionist were so cold and not friendly at all I just stood there not knowing what to do until someone get hed me.. And while I was getting the massage some employees were sitting between the massage rooms gossiping extremely loud I cauld not relax.

Had a power pedi done, I’ve been left with nails that aren’t filed straight, I’ve got lacerations on my toes from cuticle trimming and over filing and a poorly executed paint job.This is the second time I’ve had poor results from a sorbet, I would never recommend this salon.

Tried to book an appointment for a makeup session. Was told they dont do it any more because of Covid-19; nowhere on their website is this indicated!!! The only Covid-19 link they show is a link to a government page. Most other salons are resuming full service, but Sorbet cant be bothered? Youve lost out on a future booking for me, and three friends.

Service is not as good as it was and I find the prices to be unreasonable.

Terrible and rude receptionists. If you’re late due to personal reasons and arrive with a friendly attitude and a sincere apology you do not deserve to be met with an unwelcoming harsh attitude. With rude and truly condescending behavior. And whats worse is they were taking in walk-ins! But I who had an appointment was treated so terribly. I hope it is not a race thing because the lady who came in without an appointment was caucasian was welcomed with a smile and assisted immediately. I on the other hand was rudely sent away

If I could’ve given 0 stars I would’ve.I often go to Sorbet when I return to South Africa (which is quite often) but never again.Went for a Hollywood and leg wax, and it was as if I just gave my money away for no service. I left with just as much hair as when I walked in.Called for a refund on the same day when I got home, told that the manager would ring me. Went into the store again, spoke to a lady “Samantha” who told me the exact same thing and nothing, if this so-called “manager” is a scapegoat for all their clients’ queries I would not be surprised. Do yourself a favour, don’t waste your money and just go elsewhere.

Just had my first experience with a full body massage and dermo facial at sorbet Cavendish... it was honestly the best experience I had... Had a hot stone massage. The lady did a good job but rooms are not sound proof and staff were very loud in the passage. Perhaps earphones is a good idea if you are looking to relax

Sorbet overbooks themselves. I had to wait more than 20 minutes for my appointment and then also when I made a request it was just ignored. And the pedicure and manicure was not worth it.

Today, myself and sister went for our first experience at Sorbet, and did not enjoy it all. Very disorganised and the treatment wasnt what I expected, I felt that we could have both been treated with better care.Dont think I would wana go back again.

After trying out Sorbet for the very first time, I left the salon feeling quite disappointed with the job that was done on my nails. It was rushed, looks extremely untidy and uneven on so many of my nails. Really had high expectations for Sorbet however today, dampened that completely. Unsatisfied customer :(

Very lovely and my nails came out well. Didnt have any problem with my appointment and got an appointment on the same day I called. The lady who did my nails was nice.When I went back to get my nails filed down the lady wasnt all that nice and mostly just talked to the other employees and gossiping which I did not appreciate.

Has potential but some staff lack professionalism. Having made 3 attempts to contact the salon about bad work (warped, cracked, mismatched nails and broken skin caused by rough filing) and getting no response, the final insult was having to pay - again - to have it removed. Ask for Loreen if you do go, she does consistently good work.

Receptionists should LISTEN carefully when the client phones in to book her appointment.I called to make 2 seperate bookings for myself and my daughter,(with our cell nos) which I usually did for the past 3 years... only 1 of us were sent an sms to confirm the booking...but on Sunday, whilst my daughter and I were already seated and being prepared for our treatments, my phone rang and when I answered, I was told:...ts Sorbet Cavendish and that I am late for my appointment... I said to her, please look behind you, in the corner to your right. I am present. The receptionist was embarrassed... It turns out that the booking for myself was made by another receptionist...under my daughters name and another in my name which meant, I was double booked for the same time. A big confusion... (we laughed)... Yet I phoned 3 times asking when will they confirm my daughters aptmt... and explained we needed 2 sep bookings for 2 sep treatments...individually, as she had a voucher and I was paying seperately.Furthermore, my treatment was quicker than my daughters and I had left to shop in the mall to kill time...Later, my daughter informed me that a couple came in for their treatment and husband & wife wanted to sit next to each other, my daughter, still during the procedure of her pedicure, parafin dip and very comfortable, was asked by the manager to MOVE to the next seat so that the couple could be seated next to one another. She moved, but it disturbed her comfort. If the manager (Samantha) had checked bookings ahead of time, she wouldve known that the clients wouldve expected to sit next to each other and seat earlier client according to the time they would spend in that seat...and reserve the seats for the couple. (I was sitting in the corner against the wall and I got up and left. My daughter, whose treatment was longer, should have been seated where i was ... then the 2 seats wouldve been available for the couple without asking the client to move during her treatment).However, the nail technicians are great!

At 38 weeks pregnant i walked into store held onto the bars situated in the centre of the steps for support and almost fell. The Bars were lose and wobbeling and the 4 ladies sluggishly chilling at the front desk couldnt have been bothered. i greeted them and said that the bars are not safe and Need to be fixed. I was just ignore.I enjoyed the pedicure,but none of the gelish colours I wanted was available.

2 out of the 3 times that I went there, I had an unpleasant experience. Once with the way I was handled, the lady was rough and in a rush. she treated me like another number. The next time I booked I asked not to be booked with her, guess what? there she was waiting for me and only did half the job. The guy who took the booking clearly had no listening skills.They clearly dont understand customer service and some of them are bringing the sorbet name down. I need to find a branch that will provide a better service.

Went for a Hollywood wax, but when I got home I realise there was no point in paying the price I did as there was still hair hair there and quite a bit. Dont see myself recommending or going there ever again.

Not impressed by the service and work that was done. I had a mani and pedi. Neither lasted - after the 3 days started chipping. The other women were offered refreshments and not me even though I had booked in advance. Pedicure that was done was really bad. Very skilled professionals made my nails look royal! The space is unfortunately cramped and busy, makes your pamper time feel very pressured.

The shop is small with to many stations cramed in. The aircons are off apparently due to centre management, consequently the shop is hot, stuffy and the only thing you breath in is acetone.The therapists are lovely, but the overall experience was uncomfortable and I definitely will not be returning.

The worst. I booked an appointment and they messed it up. Planned my day around the appointment only to get there to be told it was booked on a wrong day. If i could give -10 stars i would.

First time here doing my nails, the technician who was assigned to me was rushing to get done with my nails and didnt even give a damn that she was hurting me - which I had mentioned countless times. Today! My nail tech is late for my appointment. Now, tell me where is the consideration in there. Terrible! Terrible! Terrible!

Horrendous service. I went in to purchase my Environ skincare products to the value of R1450. When I queried about the products, they couldn’t advise properly about the brand and were very lethargic is their attitude, as if asssiting me was the last thing the wanted to do. The cherry on the cake was that there is promotion where if you purchase 4 full size products-which I did- you get a free 30day trial pack. I wasn’t offered this on the day but went to another sorbet for another product and found out about this special offer. After calling them about this, they asked me to come in which I did and they then offered me a mini size product as compensation-this would have been 1 of the 5 products in the 30 day trial pack. This is absolutely disgusting customer service. If this is how they treat a customer who is purchasing products, I wouldn’t trust them with any of their beauty treatments.

Customer service isnt high up on this places priority list; while the treatment itself was quite good, the booking process was not. They messed up our booking and then tried to blame it on us by, the time they realised they had infact made an error it was too late as they had created their own double-booking mess up; to top it off, they never apologised.
