Never mind the unprofessional appearance of the place. I went there with my Turkish student and experienced exploitation. I would not say exploitation of foreigners because the staff themselves are foreigners. This made it even more sad because it seems that the hairdresser had a racist issue. Just because my student white and from Turkey he got charged R200 for a haircut written in a piece of paper. I argued that it is not right because it was a simple haircut, no wash, no blow and no scissors. After almost five minutes the price then went down to 100 which was luckily all my student had. Even though the price went down I still wont ever take any of my students their again. I wont recommend anyone to go there either. I am against prejudices and racism whether it is white against black or black against white. I could have argued more and demanded a lower price but we just gave what we have and left. This is the reason why you see places in longs street that still seem like we are in apartheid, places where only blacks hang out and places where only whites hang. Get over this mentality please!
Will lace you up with any haircut you need for a fair price. Even the ladies are catered to with hair and nails
My barber had one eye and gave a pretty decent cut
Horrible...I had a voucher but the owner, Sandra refused to redeem the voucher. She was rude and unprofessional.
Be aware - at least as a foreigner, they rip you off! I payed 500 Rand for (full service) haircut!
