Moimooi spa has a great special running- 5x treatments for R399 a month, but the salon is extremely crowded. Even tho I was on time, I had to wait 15min to get helped and the lady still finished 10 min before with my treatment due to public transportation. The spa sends you an appointment reminder the day before with an address (145 Sir Lowry road) that takes you to an open field. Instead of specifying The palms center 145 Sir Lowry. So overall it was one frustration on another. Definitely a quantity over quality experience.

19apr18…….From what started with a free massage voucher has now turned out and become a regular twice a month visit to this Supa-awesome-li very clean and professional service provider! Once a month for a Mani-Pedicure (for my wife) and a month-lii different couples massage! The parlours, the equipment and produces that are used here are always of a very high standard and the décor at times is even very Snazz-ii! Also the Staff members of this establishment are very professional. We are kind of getting used to this kind of life-style! A visit and outing that we thorough-lii look forward to every month...For the staff we say “Awesome guys keep up the good work!”............we received a gift voucher for a couples massage which included a Hot-Rock treatment which turned out to be an absolute-lii invigorating experience! The place is in a nice center The Palm, Woodstock with ample cheap & safe parking! The premises is nice and very clean but very busy! The ladies administering the massage are very good in what they are doing making them in my opinion professionals! The reception staff were friend-lii and well mannered but seem to be under pressure as they are extreme-lii busy! An over-all pleasant experience and we will come back here in the future if they continue to give good services!.............20th March 2018....it now seems that we get to come here at least once a month and thoroughly enjoying the services rendered here! 10 out of 10!!!!....30th August 2018:-......impressed that of late they have a fruit bowl set-out with fresh fruits and also today for the first time we received a welcome drink! I wish I had great things to say about this place....but I dont!the idea of getting spa treatments for a certain amount a month sounded great, but sadly the execution is not.their website never works so getting a booking is not easy. the fact that one can only have one treatment a day (or a set) is ridiculous...clients now have to go back on separate days for treatments that could easily be on one day in normal spas.this is really unnecessary and makes clients feel as if they are being done a favour when they have actually paid for the services.some of the therapists need to do better;theres no reason why a properly done gelish manicure should start chipping after two days.

Unauthorized debit from my account.I cancelled with this moimoi last year July 2017 and still have debit issues.Taking them to court.Staff been taken off the street as posed as thermpaist who does not know how to even do a simple back massage.Worst place ever and a total rip off.Dont waste your hard earned cash.

Very disappointing. We were quite impressed when moi moois ladies came to our office and gave us massages and did our nails, if our experience with them stopped there my review would have gone in another direction, however, that is not the case. After our sessions we were encouraged to complete a form containing our banking details, I had read the reviews on Hello Peter concerning unauthorised debit orders and questioned one of the ladies on this matter. Her response was that people do not adhere to their policies and that is not how they do business. My colleague had recorded our conversation when I asked for our forms back, because we were afraid that they would go through with the debit order and we had not yet decided if we would like to sign on to a subscription. The lady told us that she needs email or phone call confirmation before deducting any money off our accounts, she said that she could loose her job if she did not do this. My friend was never contacted, yet she had a R600 deducted from her account. R200 for the registration and R400 for the package. She has emailed them multiple times yet this company does not respond? I have the voice recording. We will be taking this matter further if they do not respond.

Unless you are self employed or a stay at home mom dont bother signing up as trying to get an appointment over the weekends is near impossible. Trying to call their call center is a very painful experience and that is if you even manage to get through to a human being.I just sent a cancelaltion email so am interested in seeing how long it takes for them to get back to me and if I will also be experiencing any debit order issues as per the numerous complains on HelloPeter.

Unauthorise Debit from my accountPathetic services from Joshua Customer careI cancelled this package offered to me in February 2018, 2 days after they offered it to me.I sent emails and yet they still deducted money from my account, Today I see they deducting a lessor amount of R99.75 as if I wont notice it but it is through a different company that that deduct the money. I spoke to a guy Joshua that repeated told me the same thing as if I already dont know that I cancelled my package within the cooling off period, and has the Nerve to still Hum tunes in my ear while I wait on him.Really this company is pathetic and stop stealing my money im not interested.!!

Leanne at Milk and Honey mustve been a con artist in her previous life. I tried to make a making on the 14th of August for a hot stone treatment the 19th of August and was informed that the next available date for this treatment would be in September. This was told to me in spite of R700 being debited from my bank account the 7th August. Its amazes me how Milk and Honey at the Palms took my money but I could not receive any of the massage treatments for which I paid for. This is by definition robbery. I shouldve checked Google before signing up after seeing the past putrid and horrible customer service. This still has not changed. Bad service from the receptionist and scam artist like behavior from management. Never go to this place people.

THIS IS A WASTE OF MONEY & A CHEAP SCAM. 5 of my friends signed up after I referred them but after my bad experience I won’t recommend anyone. When booking a massage u mentally prepare yourself to relax & unwind. I like trying new places & surprisingly some cheap places gives just as wonderful massages as a 5 star hotel. However not Milk & Honey Boutique their entire set up is cheap. As I entered I was able to see someone laying down being massaged what happened to some privacy??? I wish someone warned me about how horrible this place is. Its 1 huge open space divided by curtains. I understand that it’s only R399 which is extremely cheap & I can’t expect a fancy place such as a hotel or actual spa but I do expect privacy & something therapeutic. I couldn’t relax I was so paranoid that someone would walk pass & was able to see me through the slit of the curtain laying half naked.The aromatherapy was the only available treatment I could choose. Booking are a nightmare it becomes available 2weeks in advance & if you don’t book on time you lose your treatments as it doesn’t carry over. So I’m only available on weekends like most people as I work during the week. I understand the reason for this is to schedule staff however a normal spa has shifty & book appointments for clients not them having to book online 2 weeks prior.My massage experience OMG OMG this was by far the worse massage I have ever received, My 12 year old niece does a better job. At first I thought she was inexperience, not asking me if the pressure is ok I just went with it but the entire time she was rubbing my back with her left hand, I know I’m tiny & people are afraid to massage me but she seemed so distracted. When telling her she can massage abit harder because she was literally whipping the oil over my body she wants to tell me this is how an aromatherapy massage should be LOL how pathetic . . . An aromatherapy massage is generally not as vigorous and stimulating as the others massages. It uses essential oils in with the massage medium pressure which have an effect at a cellular level on the body. These oils are very potent and can bring about remarkable healing within the body. The technique is much smoother and lighter and includes various pressure points which are based on tsubo points from the ancient art of acupressure. Very important thing is to keep at least 1 hand on your client at all times, She probably left me laying there a number of times. The only essential oils used was on my chest for the smell, the rest of the oil was cheap with no scent not even grape seed oil which is the cheapest option. Funny thing is I know all about massages and this under skilled trainee wants to tell me rudely she’s doing it correctly. I could tell she was distracted & when I looked up to see why she wasn’t massaging me correctly I caught her on her phone which she quickly tried to hide but landed up throwing it against my leg. She tell me she’s checking the time but there was a clock when we started our treatment that miraculously disappeared when we were done. Each time she was on her phone and placed her hand back on my body it was ice cold. This is really unprofessional, no point in having a good price if the set up & service sucks.
